Marjorie Taylor Greene flips out on 'clueless' Senate Republicans for letting Biden's judges be approved

Taking to Twitter on Saturday afternoon, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) raged at "clueless" Senate Republicans for not staying up all night and blocking judicial appointments made by President Joe Biden.

Senate proceedings went on until the early hours of Saturday as lawmakers attempted to wrap up business as the holidays approach. However many Republicans didn't stick around -- even in the afternoon -- to vote on judicial nominations with the controversial Georgia Republican insisting all of them should be blocked regardless of qualifications.

In her first tweet, Taylor Greene included a list of GOP Senators' votes -- or non-votes -- while writing, "What happened in the Senate last night was an abomination. If the Republican Senators had simply stayed at work, they would have beaten every nomination after about 3pm. Half the conference left. Pathetic. No excuses for this. But what do you expect with failed leadership?"

Still furious two hours later, she added, "It’s absolutely disgusting that @SenateGOP allows this to happen. Republicans in the Senate could stop decades of Marxist judicial tyranny but instead either don’t bother to show up and vote or actually vote to confirm Biden’s noms. R Senators are clueless about the R base!!!"

Marjorie Taylor Greene's Polio Vaccine Comment Gets Scorched
    Ron Dicker
    Mon, December 20, 2021, 6:07 AM·2 min read
    In this article:

Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is using the new COVID-19 surge to sow more doubt about the coronavirus vaccines, which sharply reduce the chances of serious illness and death.

Greene on Sunday tweeted a link to an article about New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker’s breakthrough case in which he credited vaccination for keeping his symptoms minor.

“How many breakthrough cases of polio are there?” Greene wrote.

Greene’s off-key comment comparing breakthrough COVID cases, which are mostly mild, with polio, which was mostly eradicated in the decades after a vaccine was introduced, landed with a thud. As usual, the anti-vaccine, pro-conspiracy lawmaker missed the point ― and was flat-out wrong, people on Twitter pointed out.

Critics noted the near-universal compliance with the polio shot. Only 61% of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated against the coronavirus ― and many who refuse the shots buy into anti-vaccine conspiracy theories pushed by the likes of Greene.

They also schooled Greene on the COVID-19 vaccines’ proven protection against death and hospitalization, and provided some history about vaccines in America. And, yes, there have been breakthrough cases of polio and even measles, despite the game-changing inoculations.

One thing that helps prevent breakthrough cases of polio is not having it run rampant. That helps a lot, given that even the polio vaccine is not quite 100% effective. Luckily for us, people back then lined up to get their vaccines to eradicate polio in the U.S.

WATCH: Marjorie Taylor Greene refers to Asians as 'yellow people' as she brags about diversity at right-wing event

According to Newsweek, at a gathering for the right-wing youth group Turning Point USA, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) offered an eyebrow-raising defense of the Republican Party on racial issues — using a racially-loaded term to explain why the party is inclusive.

Specifically, she suggested that the GOP couldn't be a "white supremacist" party — because there are "yellow people" voting for them.

"The Georgia Republican mentioned the term — which was historically used as a racist slur against Asian people — in her Sunday opening remarks on the second day of 'AmericaFest', a conference organized by conservative group Turning Point USA," reported Danya Hajjaji.

"'So I've never been to one of these events before,' said Greene. 'I've heard a little bit about them. I've seen a little bit of this event, this type of event before. And when I walked in yesterday, I was like, 'What kind of people come here?'' she continued. 'So I'm walking around and seeing some good people and I see white people, Black people, brown people, yellow people...'"

Republican candidates for office have frequently gotten into trouble for using antiquated racial slurs.

Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore referred to "reds and yellows fighting" as an example of racial strife during his campaign for Senate. And in 2006, Sen. George Allen (R-VA) mortally wounded his bid for re-election when he referred to an Indian-American opposition researcher for his opponent as "macaca" — a slur for dark-skinned people.

Greene, a QAnon-sympathetic lawmaker, has repeatedly gotten in trouble for endorsing the idea that wildfires are being ignited by Jewish space lasers and promoting social media content advocating for the execution of prominent Democrats. She was stripped of her committee assignments for her behavior earlier this year.

Funny as fuck. Green proved to be as mentally ill as Trump and simply cannot grasp the consequences of her own actions. And do not listen the squealing like pigs stuck under a gate from treasonous conservative/Republicans screaming free speech. First because they shit on and wiped their asses with the Constitution. And second even if Twitter was not a private company false speech has never been protected under the Constitution.

'She's not coming back': Marjorie Taylor Greene faces permanent Twitter ban after 5 Covid-19 strikes

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) may be permanently banned from Twitter after reportedly getting her fifth strike from the social media platform.

Greene's account was suspended on Sunday after she tweeted an attack on Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX). In the tweet, she slammed Crenshaw for pressing for more Covid-19 testing centers.

But soon after the tweet, Twitter suspended Greene's account. None of her tweets were available after the suspension.

This is reportedly Greene's fifth strike on the social media platform, which would make her eligible for a permanent ban from Twitter.

Twitter confirmed the ban to New York Times reporter Davey Alba.

"We permanently suspended the account you referenced (@mtgreenee) for repeated violations of our Covid-19 misinformation policy," a Twitter spokesperson said.

"She's not coming back," Alba concluded.

    First, gag your opposition.
    Second, propaganda.
    Third, demonize.

But the bottom line is that one cannot give much credence to anyone who pretends they love their country, but insist that its a "shithole country".

What lies has she told..I don't follow her or have Twitter but from what I've seen she got her 5th strike for showing vaers information..the FDA/CDC vaccine adverse event reporting system that has been in place for 30 years and is generally known to be under reported. It's a fact this vaccine has more vaers reported deaths and adverse reactions then all other vaccines for the last 30 years combined and a recent Columbia university study suggests those numbers are under reported by a factor of 20x.

Green is just like Trump and literally too mentally ill to grasp the consequences of her own actions. Yes she is mentally ill enough to actually desperately need the constant attention. And too mentally ill to realize until too late that's her money maker. She has to have it to keep enraging the rubes into giving her money.

But she is also just plain stupid and ignorant (two different things). Stupid because she can't shake her money maker. And I am betting too ignorant to understand before its too late that even though she has another twitter account that is her official congressional twitter account. But there aren't just pesky twitter rules governing what she can put on that account. There are actual federal laws governing that account to make sure it cannot be used to raise money.

And all that is just funny as fuck to watch.

'Needy' Marjorie Taylor Greene bashed by her own followers after she begs to be let back on Twitter

Phoro via Marjorie Taylor Greene Facebook page

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) earlier this week declared that Twitter was an "enemy" of America for banning her account.

However, just one day later, Greene went on right-wing Twitter alternative Gettr and demanded to have her account reinstated.

"Twitter forgot about the 2 times they accidentally suspended my account this past year," Greene wrote. "That means I’ve only had 3 strikes in their 5 strike system. Twitter has to reinstate my account immediately."

However, Greene's demand to be let back on Twitter did not go over well with many of her Gettr followers.

"Don't post things like this, it makes you sound needy," wrote one follower.

"Why bother? Twitter is full of sheep," commented another.

"Just leave that sh*t show and support conservative media outlets," wrote another follower. "We the people need to replace leftist thought control were ever it is."

"Begging twitter to reinstate your account is beneath you," wrote a similarly disappointed fan.

Greene was permanently suspended by Twitter on Sunday for repeatedly violating its policy on posting misinformation about COVID-19.

Pro-Trump Pastor Darrell Scott on Monday hammered Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), whom he accused of putting Black conservatives "in a bad position."

Writing on Twitter, Scott took Greene to task for criticizing GOP outreach efforts to Black voters as "pandering."

"I’m tired of White Conservatives LIKE MARJORIE TAYLOR GREEN putting Black Conservatives in a bad position by spouting racist sounding stuff and wanting us to defend it and/or her," he wrote. "She called outreach to Black voters 'pandering.' I’m not standing next to that drivel."

Scott followed this up by noting people like Greene "don’t think 'formulating strategy to attract white suburban women' is pandering."

Some of Scott's followers tried to defend Greene by asking him to point to racist things she's said, and Scott pointed to videos she made before being elected in which she said it was impossible for Muslims to be loyal to the United States, as well as infamous remarks she made comparing pandemic-related restrictions to the Holocaust.

Greene has been suspended from Twitter for repeatedly violating the platform's ban on spreading misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID lies and misinformation. Which is getting people killed. And in a pandemic like this that is the same as yelling fire in a crowded theater and creating a panic. Which has been ruled unconstitutional speech since 1919.

Fact check: false claims Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has tweeted in the last month
    By Daniel Dale, CNN

Updated 4:04 PM ET, Thu January 21, 2021

    The insurrection timeline
Defending President Donald Trump against accusations that he incited the Capitol insurrection, Greene argued: "The timeline doesn't fit the narrative. Trump supporters could not have listened to President Trump's speech at the WH and then been 'incited' by him to walk to and attack the Capitol."
Facts First: This is just not true -- even leaving aside the fact that insurrectionists near the Capitol could have listened to Trump's speech on their phones or could have been inspired by Trump's previous rhetoric. There was more than enough time for people to walk about a mile and a half from The Ellipse park, where Trump gave a speech that ended before 1:15 p.m. ET, to the Capitol, where rioters were still present more than three hours after Trump concluded. In fact, the FBI alleges that some insurrection participants did make this walk, including one who allegedly went from the Trump speech to her hotel and then into the Capitol.

    Voter fraud
Greene tweeted that "there was MASS voter fraud on a scale that should terrify every American regardless of political party."
Facts First: This is, again, just false. There is no evidence of mass voter fraud -- as Republican election officials around the country and Trump-appointed former Attorney General William Barr have acknowledged. Rather, there have been isolated instances of alleged fraud by lone voters, far too minor to have affected the outcome.
In court, even Trump's own legal team often declined to allege mass fraud -- focusing instead on complaints about law and process. But the Trump team lost case after case anyway.

    The presidential election in Georgia
Greene criticized Gabriel Sterling, a senior official in the office of Georgia's top elections official, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. She tweeted, "You ran a Nov 3rd election that was stolen bc you idiots at the SOS mailed out millions of absentee ballots to any one and everyone while GA was an open state."
Facts First: Georgia's presidential election was not "stolen." Biden won the state fair and square, as confirmed by three counts of the ballots and an audit of some voters' signatures.

    The Senate elections in Georgia
Greene tweeted: "... Georgia state leaders refused to listen to Georgia tax payers. They refused to change anything after allowing @realDonaldTrump's election to be stolen. And they refused to #StopTheSteaI with our two senate seats."
Facts First: There was no "steal" of Georgia's two Senate seats; Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock won fair and square in the January runoff elections. Their Republican opponents, David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, have both conceded defeat.

    The presidential election in Pennsylvania
Greene tweeted, "202,377 more votes cast than voters voting in Pennsylvania! This is called election fraud."
Facts First: False again. State officials and fact checkers have repeatedly explained that the claim that Pennsylvania had more votes than registered voters is just not true; Greene was invoking an incorrect figure from a Republican state legislator who had relied on incomplete data.

    The First Amendment
The day after Twitter banned Trump's @realDonaldTrump account, Greene tweeted, "Yesterday they crushed the First Amendment. You can see what's coming next. I vow to do everything I can to protect American's Second Amendment rights."
Facts First: Nobody crushed the First Amendment on January 8. Greene didn't explicitly say she was talking about Twitter's decision to suspend Trump's account, but if she was, she was clearly inaccurate. The First Amendment prohibits the government from silencing citizens, but it does not require corporations, including social media companies like Twitter, to allow citizens to speak freely.

    Violence in 2020
Greene tweeted, "ZERO Democrats have condemned the political violence of BLM/Antifa terrorists that lasted the entirety of 2020. Instead, each of them fanned the flames of hate."
Facts First: Numerous Democrats -- including Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and senior members of the party's congressional caucus -- condemned rioting and looting last year
