I never expected miscalls from Joe Biden. I am glad I voted for him.

 

I try to avoid the politics sub forum because it's just one big ongoing fight but I have noticed something here. There aren't any threads created by our more liberal members that talk about the accomplishments of the current administration. None. At least none on the first page. I find that interesting. I remember when President Biden first got elected and then sworn in, how our liberal members were excited and discussed all the things he was going to do. Now, the only threads about this current administration are pretty much made by conservatives.

I've noticed this in real life also. I was in an airport a couple weeks ago and CNN was on TV. I was there for about an hour and the ONLY thing they talked about was the former administration. Zero about the current one.

Biden ended our war in Afghanistan. He led the international opposition to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I think Trump would have sat and watched as the Russian Army over ran Ukraine before looking aggressively at Poland.

 

Well, dog, lets think about this;
First, Biden fucked up the withdrawal from Afghanistan. The only people who deny that are despicables. Everyone else knows, 13 senseless deaths, the abandonment of thousands of our Afghan allies to horrible deaths, the arming of the Taliban; no, the only people who can say Biden "ended our war in Afghanistan" are despicables, and even they can't say it with a straight face.

The common consensus is that Putin would never have invaded Ukrain if Trump had been in office. Not that Trump and Putin see eye to eye, but rather, Trump would certainly have told Putin if he did invade, he'd be fighting American and UN troops and he could expect an ass kicking. Putin, it was rumored, thought Trump might be nuts and needed to be handled with kid gloves. Remember?

What's the point? Name one issue that the Republicans have even tried to come to a bipartisan agreement? Other than this new gun stuff, there is nothing that the Republicans worked with anyone on.

And then you add in the two paid wolves in democratic clothes...

 

Apparently, despicables, even with majoeities in congress, can't do anything without deplorable cooperation.

Or it could be that even despicable hard liners can't honestly point to anything this administration has accomplished.

 

You pretend that the Democrats have a "majoeities", but we both know what little control they have in the house, the Senate makes up for it, special when you've got two paid Republicans pretending they're Democrats.

Trump led an economy that boosted wages for the first time in over a decade, especially for the groups traditionally left behi d in good economies, women and minorities.

And biden has managed to reverse all that in less than 18 months.
