  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

The internal combustion engine is the least efficient, dirtiest and noisiest option that we have today. There are so many avenues open for producing power, all of which can be developed to provide the motivational power that we need and not use hydrocarbon fuel.

You may well be around to see the day.

And i also dont think that bio-diesel is not a solution. I mean, because of that the prices for food getting higher and higher because e.g. maize and other things are needed for this bio-diesel.

Hydrocarbons are dirty, but they still trump every other fuel in chemical energy density, portability, and ease of refueling.

I'd rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.

Late 60's 8 cylender Fords are an emotional experience to drive.

This 1938 Indian/Henderson Ace motorcycle was my father's. It was given to me in 1945 for 13th birthday. I restored it 20 years ago. It will still kick ass with some of these new bikes.

    Umm

I purchased, dont laugh...a Hyosung Hyper 125 scooter back in Feb. Paid £100, kickstart & elec start both broken. A few bits and it came to life! No logbook, also an insurance writeoff? No real damage, so easy repair and im on the road! Looks great and 105mpg as well!
As for cars, im a Vauxhall fan, had a few cavaliers and a senator. Made well in Germany but far cheaper. Engines go on forever. A friend had a 1300 astra, did nearly 400,000 miles and only replaced the clutch, tyres and bulbs. He sold it on! Amazing.

I have a Honda CBR600. Big fan of Jap bikes, but in the last couple of years Europe have bounced back with BMW's S1000rr and Aprilia's RSV4 which are reallly the dog's danglies when it comes to superbikes.

My car is a Honda Civic type R, which I actually get good mpg out of because i never have to thrash it. Plus I save the fun for the bike.

I'd kill to have a Mercedes AMG SLS, but I'm afraid I don't really fit into that income tax bracket :(

Last car was 1994 Vw Golf td. Had 170,000 miles when i got it. Engine looked spotless and totally dry of any leaks. Still did 45mpg aroumd town and 63 on long runs.
