The big revenge investigations the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans were threatening President Biden and the Democrats when their big "Red Tsunami" hit have turned into the same limp dick piss stream their "Red Tsunami" did and have gotten just to comical and disastrous for them to try and keep up with on other threads so I figured they would have to have their own thread.

Congressman blasts Jim Jordan over 'bizarre' platform given to '3 disgruntled employees'

Ahead of Rep. Jim Jordan's (R-OH) "weaponization" committee hearing on Thursday, reports revealed that at least two of the FBI agents had their clearance levels pulled as a result of controversial actions.

In the case of Marcus Allen, his top secret clearance was revoked after it was revealed he supported those who believed in or threatened to use violence against the American government. Allen then sent an email from his bureau account to colleagues in telling them to “exercise extreme caution and discretion in pursuit of any investigative inquiries or leads pertaining to the events of” Jan. 6.

In the case of Stephen Friend, the FBI said that he lost his clearance after he refused to participate in the arrest of a Jan. 6 attacker. When talking to his superiors about it, Friend “espoused an alternative narrative about the events at the U.S. Capitol," the letter from the Bureau said. There's also an accusation that Friend downloaded documents from the FBI onto a personal drive, but didn't go into details there.

Speaking to MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace on Thursday, Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) challenged Jordan's characterization of the men as "whistleblowers" because they are not only Trump-affiliated but Trumpworld funded.

"In this theater of the absurd, the Republicans provided a platform today for three disgruntled employees of the FBI to come and air their grievances," said Connolly. "He did no such thing as whistle-blowing. They are not whistleblowers. They don't deserve whistleblower protection. Each and every one of them has a strange history that merited action, employment action, by the FBI because they became security concerns. That's why they have the security clearances pulled."

He explained that in some cases the agents were demoted or put on hold because they weren't considered reliable enforcement agents any longer.

"To give them this national platform today was bizarre, at best, sordid at worst, and I don't think in any way helped the Republican narrative, conspiratorial narrative, that somehow the FBI is an agency of the deep state and doing the dirty work of liberal Democrats," Connolly continued. "I think what we witnessed today were three disgruntled employees who have strange beliefs, conspiratorial beliefs, have questioned in many cases the fundamentals that have been established in numerous courtrooms all across America and by the Jan. 6th Commission, even now."

He pointed out that they believed Jan. 6 was instigated by the so-called "deep state," and they blamed former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was a target of the attackers.

Jim Jordan hearing descends into chaos after GOP withholds 'whistleblower' testimony

Rep. Jim Jordan's (R-OH) hearing on the "weaponization" of government turned chaotic on Thursday after Republicans refused to turn over witness testimony.

Following witness statements in a Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) demanded to know why some testimony had not been shared with Democrats.

"It's my understanding that the minority in this committee under the rules is entitled to the same testimony, information, documents that the majority is entitled to," Wasserman Schultz noted. "So I mean, I'm not aware that you're able to withhold information from the minority."

"When it comes to [FBI] whistleblowers, you're not," Jordan shot back.

"That's not right," one Democrat complained. "We gave you all the information we had."

"Mr. Chairman, I can't hear five people at once!" a Republican interrupted. "Can we have regular order?"

"I recognize...," Jordan said before Wasserman Shultz spoke up again.

    "I'm inquiring," she observed.

"And I've told you that when it comes to whistleblowers, you are not entitled to it," Jordan shot back.

"Mr. Chairman, these individuals have been determined not to be whistleblowers," Wasserman Shultz said. "These are not whistleblowers. They've been determined by the agency not to be whistleblowers. Are you deciding that they're whistleblowers?"

"Yes, the law decides," Jordan stated before moving on.

GOP FBI 'whistleblowers' put on defensive as Dems hammered them for pushing conspiracy theories

Purported whistleblowers put forth by Republicans were questioned about their stances on conspiracy theories on Thursday.

As House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) prepared to roll out public hearings for "whistleblowers" at the FBI who claimed to have evidence of political interference at the agency, new reports came out showing that two of them, Marcus Allen and Stephen Friend, were stripped of security clearance for a number of alleged misconduct and security risk issues, including that both of them sympathized with the January 6 Capitol insurrectionists.

According to a Washington Post analysis, this revelation set the tone of today's hearing, with Democrats hammering the witnesses over their record, and putting them on the defensive.

"'You may think I’m a political partisan,' former FBI agent Stephen Friend said. 'You may think I am a grifter. You may think I’m a conspiracy theorist. It does not matter.' He said his claims still warranted consideration," wrote Aaron Blake. "This was the backdrop of the hearing, which focused on claims of FBI abuses of power and featured witnesses who claimed retaliation for raising red flags. Democrats have pointed to conspiratorial comments by the witnesses and their ties to a key ally of Donald Trump, Kash Patel, to cast doubt on their claimed whistleblower statuses. We learned Wednesday that the FBI recently stripped two of the witnesses of their security clearances, citing wrongdoing."

"Democrats were a little gentler in spotlighting these counterarguments than they were in a recent hearing featuring 'Twitter Files' journalists, but a few exchanges got at how dicey the proceedings were," the report continued. "Friend, the most outspoken of Thursday’s four witnesses, was asked about his calls to dismantle the FBI. When a Democrat noted that Republicans have decried efforts to defund the police, Friend suggested the bureau wasn’t really a police agency. 'The FBI — it is my contention that they’re a domestic intelligence agency with law enforcement capability,' he said. At another point, Friend equivocated somewhat on his most well-publicized claim: that it was wrong for the FBI to use a SWAT team to arrest a Jan. 6 defendant on a misdemeanor charge."

IN OTHER NEWS: 'I've been a victim of it!' Giuliani claims FBI is going to be weaponized by Dems in 2024 election

The hearing was further undermined as Democrats pointed out that Republicans hadn't shared any of the material these agents provided that supposedly earned them "whistleblower" status — which they technically don't have under law — and Republicans dug in their heels over not turning over the information for transparency.

All of this comes as a parallel investigation by Republicans in the House Oversight Committee into President Joe Biden's family finances is also being derailed, as Republicans claim the witnesses who provided evidence to them have gone missing.

Congresswoman flattens Jordan for wanting different rules for conservative FBI agents

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) began his weaponization committee hearing on Thursday by heralding the FBI whistleblowers who lost their security clearance due to their Jan. 6 sympathies. They have since been helped financially by Republican donors and allies of former President Donald Trump.

Jordan praised the men, highlighting their service to the country and in some cases, military service. He called them heroes.

Rep. Stacey E. Plaskett (D-VI) questioned the implication that anyone in military service or public service could do no wrong.

She brought up the Air Force member in Massachusetts who was recently arrested for allegedly leaking classified documents and asked if he's still a "hero."

"Because someone served our country in the military and that they work from a federal agency does not exempt them immediately from being somebody who could potentially commit espionage," she explained.

She went on to call out the rules that Republicans refuse to play by. Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), in one case, wanted FBI agents to be fired over the Carter Page FISA application. When other misconduct is outlined for FBI agents, however, he rushes to their defense.

"But when the FBI investigates conservative Christian white men who are actually threatening violence, suddenly my Republican colleagues are rushing to defund the police," Plaskett said.

She explained that when other FBI agents are talking about their political beliefs like Peter Strzok did, they should be fired, but "when they're espousing their political beliefs on the job when they're not supposed to, it's ok when it's their [conservative] beliefs. But if it were somebody else, then a different set of rules would apply to them."

"The rules don't apply when it comes to the Republicans," she continued pointing to the beginning of the hearing on Thursday in which Jordan refused to hand over written statements of the FBI whistleblowers appearing before the committee. The rules of his own committee state that every member, regardless of party, gets the statements. Still, Jordan refused.

"It's all part and parcel of the Republicans' attempt to make Americans distrust our rule of law so when 2024 comes around and should their candidate not win, more and more people will not believe the truth," Plaskett said. "The truth matters. And hiding information and stating a lie over and over again does not make it true."

Counter-terrorism expert: Jim Jordan and disgruntled FBI agents 'thought they'd get away with it — they didn't'

Former FBI deputy director for counter-terrorism Frank Figliuzzi called out the fired agents that appeared before Rep. Jim Jordan's (R-OH) weaponization committee Thursday to claim that they were targeted because of their conservative beliefs.

Speaking to MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace, he joined with former U.S. Attorney and a whistleblower lawyer, Harry Litman, who questioned the legitimacy of the claim that the men were indeed whistleblowers instead of disgruntled employees.

Wallace wondered, if Jordan felt there was politicization happening at the FBI, why then wouldn't he call in the head of the FBI, Christopher Wray?

Figliuzzi explained that the last several times Wray appeared on Capitol Hill, he makes it clear that Jan. 6 attackers are domestic terrorists. Each time it makes the GOP look as if they are supporting terrorism.

IN OTHER NEWS: Lauren Boebert's divorce helps explain a surge in misogynist rhetoric: columnist

"They thought they would get sympathy and people this with employees who have been fired for expressing their opinion, which we know is not true, so they discarded the Wray theory and said, let's try to get sympathy for these folks who have families to feed," said Figliuzzi. "I think that's what's going on. They didn't want the truth to come out. We even glossed over some of the more ugly parts of this."

He made two additional points: in the case of Stephen Friend, the FBI said that he lost his clearance after he refused to participate in the arrest of a Jan. 6 attacker. When talking to his superiors about it, Friend “espoused an alternative narrative about the events at the U.S. Capitol," the letter from the Bureau said. There's also an accusation that Friend downloaded documents from the FBI onto a personal drive, but didn't go into details there
    .

Figliuzzi explained that the man that Friend refused to arrest was using chemical spray against officers, wearing full tactical gear with a helmet, and was known for having an AR-15.

"And Stephen Friend suggests he's cooperative and make an appointment to turn himself in," said Figliuzzi in shock. "Really? You want that guy showing up in the reception room at the office? That's fascinating. It's those kinds of things that gloss over and thought they would get away with it today, and they didn't."

Jim Jordan concedes Jan. 6 prosecutions are unprecedented because it was an unprecedented event

WASHINGTON — Rep. Jim Jordan's (R-OH) weaponization committee held a Thursday hearing with what he called FBI whistleblowers alleging the Bureau has become a political arm of the Justice Department's attacks on conservatives.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday evening that the FBI whistleblowers may have had an axe to grind. The men lost their top security clearance due to their support for the Jan. 6 attackers. Losing the higher level clearance almost certainly meant that they were limited in the kinds of jobs, they could do.

During the last hearing, it was uncovered that the "whistleblowers" were being paid by Republican donors. That was mentioned at Jordan's press conference on Thursday morning.

"They got a family! How are they supposed to feed their family?" Jordan asked.

The comment comes as Republicans are attempting to force work requirements on welfare recipients.

After Jordan's press conference, Raw Story followed the Republican through the tunnel to the hearing room, asking about the FBI changing protocol for investigating all Jan. 6 protesters. Instead, the FBI looked at each one individually. Jordan's claim is that this was all to justify President Joe Biden's message that domestic terrorism is becoming an increasing problem.

"It's an attitude I think from the time, I don't know," said Jordan. "I mean, maybe it has something to do with that crazy speech Joe Biden gave last year where he's standing in front of Independence Hall and calls half of the country fascists."

The FBI investigations began under former President Donald Trump, who still had a little less than a month in office. None of the FBI leadership changed from Trump's administration to Biden's. The FBI director is still a Trump appointee. Biden's speech Jordan links to the breach in protocol was made two years after the investigation began.

Raw Story told Jordan that what happened on Jan. 6 was unprecedented, which is why the Justice Department says that their approach to investigations and charges have been unprecedented as well.

"I think people who did wrong should be prosecuted," Jordan conceded. "Based on what the whistleblowers told us they're treating it differently than other situations and criminal activity. And that's why you heard the clip of Mr. O'Boyle's testimony in the press conference."

Jordan was asked if he believes there's a problem with domestic extremism in the United States, and he replied, "To the extent we do, we should prosecute it. But what these guys are telling us is they are making it seem as if every case — cataloging and categorizing cases to inflate those numbers. That's what the whistleblowers have told us."

Thus far, the DOJ and FBI are treating individuals differently because some of the attendees were "caught up in the moment" while others were militia members who planned to create the moment. Rather than treating all Jan. 6 people the same under all one event, the DOJ appears to recognize that not all who entered the Capitol were there as a result of a premeditated plot to hang Vice President Mike Pence if he didn't stop the 2020 election certification.

Jordan argues that considering each individual attack increases the raw numbers of what the FBI calls domestic terrorists. Lumping more than 1,000 people into a block of domestic terrorists would increase that number even more.

Also at issue is that there are no specific domestic terrorism laws in the United States, a point that former FBI counter-terrorism chief Frank Figliuzzi frequently mentions when speaking.

The FBI defines domestic terrorism as: "Violent criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, radical or environmental nature."

By that definition, not all 1,000 people at the Capitol could legally be considered domestic terrorists. Even those who committed no acts of violence, or lower-level violent acts, like pushing the barriers into a line of Capitol Police, or pushing an officer, are not being charged as severely as those who used weapons to attack the officers.

Gracyn Dawn Courtright, for example, carried off a "Members Only" sign, but there was no evidence she violently attacked anyone with it. She pleaded guilty and was given a month in prison. Thomas Webster, a former New York police officer and Marine Corps veteran, swung a metal flagpole at police and tackled another officer. A jury found him guilty of assault and he was given 10 years in prison.

The FBI was criticized after Jan. 6 for mishandling the event in a way that would have prepared for possible violence. Figliuzzi said a year after the 2021 attack that the Bureau could have opened a "threat assessment" or declared Jan. 6 "National Security Special Event." Special events are done for everything from the Super Bowl to other major events or gatherings that could be a soft target for terrorism.

Dem lawmaker rips apart credibility of Jim Jordan's 'weaponization' witness

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) kicked off a hearing on Thursday featuring a pair of FBI "whistleblowers" alleging corruption and political misconduct at the agency as part of his investigation into the "weaponization" of government against Trump and his supporters.

But things got off to a bad start when Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) pointed out to one of the witnesses, Miami Field Office Agent Steve Friend, had his security clearance revoked for a reason that might make him a less than credible witness.

"You ... claim that your top secret security clearance was improperly revoked," said Wasserman Schultz. "Yet an independent investigation concluded that you demonstrated a number of security concerns, which included that you refused to execute a court-ordered arrest warrant, and when you downloaded documents from intelligence systems to an unauthorized removable flash drive."

Wasserman Schultz continued, "the cherry on top could be your unauthorized recording of executive management, which, as I'm sure you know, violates Florida law, along with your unsanctioned interviews with Sputnik News, established by the Russian government in 2014 and fully owned by the Kremlin and Putin's cronies."

"I think it's clear who is weaponizing government,"
concluded Wasserman Schultz, as Jordan moved to give the floor to a different representative.

In addition to all of these allegations, Friend also is accused of promoting conspiracy theories about the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Jordan's other witness, Agent Marcus Allen, also had his security clearance rejected for, among other reasons, refusing to relay information to other agents about January 6 suspects.

‘Are You a Charitable Organization?’ Democrat Grills GOP Whistleblower Over Receiving ‘Donation’ From Ex-Trump Official
    By Alex GriffingMay 18th, 2023, 3:56 pm

Freshman Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) questioned GOP whistleblowers before Congress on Thursday during a hearing regarding Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan’s (R-OH) probe into the so-called weaponization of the FBI.

Goldman used his time at the hearing to ask FBI special agent Garret O’Boyle and former FBI special agent Steve Friend about receiving money from former Trump official Kash Patel – who now runs his own non-profit called Fight With Kash.

“We established earlier credibility matters, certainly for witnesses who appear before us. Mr. Boyle, do you know who Kash Patel is?” Goldman, a former federal prosecutor, asked Boyle.

    “I do,” Boyle answere
    d.

“Have you received any money from Kash Patel or his organization?” Goldman asked.

    “I have,” replied Boyle.

“When you previously met with the majority members and or majority staff of this committee, was Kash Patel present for that meeting?” Goldman asked.

    “No,” Boyle replied.

“To your knowledge, has Kash Patel ever spoken to the committee members on your behalf?” Goldman pressed.

“Not that I know of,” Boyle replied.

“Not that you know of. Was anyone present for your previous meetings with committee members and staff on the majority that were not members of this committee or staff of this committee?” Goldman asked.
    “My counsel,” Boyle replied.

“Your counsel? Anyone else?” Goldman asked.

“I don’t think so,” Boyle replied.

“Is Kash Patel helping you finance your counsel?” Goldman asked.

“Not that I’m aware of,” Boyle replied.

“Okay. And, Mr. Friend, what about you?” Goldman asked turning to the other witness. “Are you, do you know, Kash Patel as well?”

    “Yes,” Friend replied.

“And did you receive any money from Kash Patel,” Goldman asked.

“Yes. He gave me a donation last November,” Friend replied.

    “A donation?” Goldman asked.

    “Yes,” Friend replied.

“Are you a charitable organization?” Goldman shot back.

“I was an unpaid, indefinitely suspended man trying to feed his family. And he’s reached out to me and said he wanted to give me a donation,” Friend replied.

“Did he have any… Was he present for any of your meetings with committee members or staff?” Goldman asked.

    “No,” Friend replied.

Goldman continued to grill Friend about his connection to Patel and whether or not he requested documents and testimony he provided not be shared with Democrats on the committee – a common complaint the minority made against the GOP majority during the hearing.

‘What Great Timing!’ Debbie Wasserman Schultz Trashes FBI Whistleblower Testifying ‘Right Before Your Book Tour Starts’
    By Caleb HoweMay 18th, 2023, 1:59 pm
    1826 comments

Former DNC chair and current Florida congresswoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Thursday blasted witnesses at the FBI whistleblower hearing before the House Weaponization subcommittee, saying it’s “crystal clear” that at least one of them was in attendance as a means of promoting his book. And she said Republicans are “promoting increased crime” by allowing it.

The House Judiciary’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government on Thursday heard from FBI whistleblowers who alleged, among other things, that the agency engaged in reprisals against them for utilizing the legal procedures afforded to government employees for the purposes of whistleblowing.

At the hearing, Republicans led by Rep. Jim Jordan probed the witnesses over their allegations of misconduct and bias by the FBI, while Democrats attacked their credibility and declared the witnesses aren’t really whistleblowers at all.

Echoing comments she and other Democrats have made repeatedly during the subcommittee’s hearings this year, most notably in her attack on journalist Matt Taibbi, Wasserman Schultz accused one witness, former FBI agent Steve Friend, of trying to generate personal profit by appearing before the House.

“In December, you said Chairman Jordan and Republicans took your complaints of alleged FBI wrongdoing and, quote, ‘used it for campaign rocket fuel and 4-minute appearances on Fox News,'” said Wasserman Schultz. “And I’ll admit you’re right, Republicans are using you. But it goes both ways.”

“You’re engaging in the self-promotion of your new book that’s about to be released,” she said, adopting a mockingly sarcastic tone. “And what great timing to be on TV and in Congress right before your book tour starts!”

Mr. Friend. I find some humor in the irony of Republicans inviting you here the same week Congress is focused on honoring law enforcement. You’ve repeatedly made calls to undermine our law enforcement agencies.

Since being rightly suspended, you’ve led Republican calls to defund law enforcement recently describing the FBI as a ‘feckless garbage institution.’ Since joining Twitter in November, no less than 40 times you called for our brave law enforcement personnel to be defunded. You even urged local police to sabotage criminal investigations by urging citizens to, and I quote, ‘pressure your sheriffs to refuse to cooperate with FBI investigations.’ That is not only reckless advice, it’s a recipe for allowing more criminals to run loose in our neighborhoods. Perhaps Chairman Jordan can explain why Republicans are promoting defunding law enforcement and increased crime before our subcommittee today.

But, Mr. Friend, your motivations appear to be today crystal clear. For months, you pressured Republicans to call you to a hearing. In fact, in December, you said Chairman Jordan and Republicans took your complaints of alleged FBI wrongdoing and, quote, ‘used it for campaign rocket fuel and 4-minute appearances on Fox News.’ And I’ll admit you’re right, Republicans are using you. But it goes both ways.

You’re engaging in the self-promotion of your new book that’s about to be released. And what great timing to be on TV and in Congress right before your book tour starts.

    Nothing new from repukes.

For eight years, House Republicans searched for a “smoking gun” to unravel the presidency of Obama. They presided over hundreds of oversight hearings, issued over a 100 subpoenas, and even formed a special select committee devoted exclusively to one investigation, Benghazi.

And guess what. They never found any “smoking gun”

But what they did manage to do was achieve their only goal. Use the phony Benghazi hearings to create a long winded phony negative narrative about Hillary Clinton to drag he popularity down. And the reason that worked is because President Obama and the Democrats did not really fight back. They wrongly assumed the majority of the American people could see and understand it was all just a phony lying stunt with corrupt intent. But they gave the American people too much credit for that because the majority of Americans tend to be apathetic about politics and usually only get their information from 30 second sound bites. And all the sound bites were Republicans screaming Benghazi was just terrible and it was all Hillary's fault.

That taught President Biden and the Democrats a very valuable lesson. They have to be ready willing and able to fight back against the lies delusions and false propaganda and get their own sound bites. Which is what they are doing this time around. But I am betting they never dreamed how much the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans would help them. Their lies and delusions are just flat out stupid and ignorant and so are they. Which creates something the media loves to cover, comedy and humor in action. They will cover someone making a fool of themselves which results in President Biden and the Democrats not getting just some of the sound bites. They are getting just about all of them.

Dem Releases The Hound On James Comer For Wild 'Missing' Biden Informant Claim

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) unleashed jokes on House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) with the help of a dog to sniff out a Biden family probe informant the Republican claimed may have gone “missing.”

Comer, pressing unproven GOP claims that President Joe Biden and son Hunter Biden have been “influence peddling” and reaped over $10 million from foreign sources before Biden’s presidency, told Fox News viewers on Sunday that his investigation’s key informant can’t be located, preventing Republicans from unveiling evidence backing up their allegations.

Moskowitz, a Democratic minority member of the committee, joked in a video posted on Twitter that hound dog Stanley could help track down the informant.

“He has lost the fake Biden informant, misplaced him, doesn’t know where he is, so I have brought in a hound and we are going to try and go find Chairman Comer’s missing fake Biden informant,” Moskowitz said before the leashed pet pulled him down the halls of the Longworth House Office Building.

Moskowitz’s stunt adds to his trolling of Comer. On Monday, he shared a faux missing person poster with a stick figure sketch of the “informant.”

I know you’ve got stuff going on, you’re trying to find the fake informant who’s gone missing,” Moskowitz told Comer on Tuesday as he pointed to his stick figure poster.

“But I’m hoping that perhaps the Oversight Committee — if they’re so worried about federal overreach — perhaps they can start being focused on real government oversight.”

Comer, in response to Moskowitz, said the “whistleblower” was “alive and well.”

We can always tell when a story hits home.
The despicables go all over active and we start seeing all the demonizing and diversions propaganda posted.
And anyone who dares question or support the story is instantly thrown into the mix for their own demonization and personal attacks.

But this story is about the FBI/DOJ weaponization and everyone should be seeking the truth.
Cause if our law enforcement becomes weaponized and corrupted by politics, the despicables might think its a good thing, you know, until right after the FBI/DOJ turns on them.

    Stupid fucks.

Rep. Jim Jordan Gets Brutal Reminder Of His Past After Tweet About Whistleblowers

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) fired off a message about whistleblowers that his critics find hard to believe.

Jordan and other Republican lawmakers say several “whistleblower” FBI agents are proving their claim that the Justice Department has been politicized.

Critics argue they’re not even true whistleblowers ― and in fact the FBI said two agents interfered with and/or refused to participate in investigations into the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Several admitted on Thursday to being paid by a former Trump administration official.

    Jordan nonetheless tweeted:

His critics were quick to point to some whistleblowers that Jordan hasn’t been as quick to embrace: those related to the claims by multiple athletes that Jordan, who was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State University, ignored molestation allegations against the team’s doctor.

    Jordan has denied the allegations.

“I considered Jim Jordan a friend,” whistleblower and former wrestler Mike DiSabato said in 2018. “But at the end of the day, he is absolutely lying if he says he doesn’t know what was going on.”

Jordan’s critics fired back with some reminders:

Freshman Democrat Hits Republicans With 2 Painful Truths In House Hearing On Crime

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) on Tuesday issued some embarrassing reminders to Republicans during their House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on crime in Washington.

“I’m so excited that my colleagues across the aisle care about sexual abuse considering that the front-runner right now for the presidency has just been found liable of sexual abuse,” said Crockett, in an apparent response to election denier Rep. Anna Paulina Luna’s (R-Fla.) comments about rising cases.

A Manhattan jury earlier this month found former President Donald Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation in advice columnist E. Jean Carroll’s civil lawsuit against him. Carroll alleged Trump in the 1990s raped her in a department store dressing room.

“So, I’m excited because this may mean that, finally, some folk will back off from supporting him because we don’t support sexual abusers in this chamber,” Crockett added. “So, I’m happy about this.”

Crockett also appeared to swipe at Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) and Republicans’ continued defense of the serial liar congressman, who earlier this month was charged on 13 federal counts including allegations he pocketed campaign donations and unlawfully received unemployment benefits. Santos has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

“My Republican colleagues want to talk about keeping the streets of D.C. crime-free” but they “can’t even keep the halls of Congress crime-free,” said Crockett, who has co-sponsored a bill to expel Santos from Congress.

“They have not,” Crockett answered her own question. “So, what I don’t want to hear is that they care about crime because if they did they would start by cleaning up our own house and mind our own business instead of coming after D.C

I am sure treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans would scream what is happening in the revenge investigations and hearings are being over hyped. But they would be full of shit and liars. I have been a political junky for more than 60 years and I have never seen wholesale political slaughter like this in my life And its not day after day. The reason I had to start this thread is because its multiple times a day in hearing after hearing.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Gets Called Out To Her Face During Congressional Hearing

Conspiracy theorist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) attempted to question a witness during a congressional hearing on a subject Republicans branded as “left-wing organized violence” on Tuesday.

But she may have gotten more than she was expecting with the reply.

Greene began by mispronouncing the name of the witness, Amy Spitalnick, a senior adviser on extremism at the human rights organization Human Rights First. Then, Greene suggested that abortion providers are the true “white supremacists,” pausing mid-rant to attack Spitalnick.

“You think this is funny, Miss Spitalnick? Is this funny to you?” she asked. “Is babies being murdered in the womb funny to you, because you’re smirking and laughing at me right now.”

Spitalnick fired back with a very serious response ― not about abortions, but the real threat of white supremacist violence.

“What’s not funny are the Black people and Hispanic people and Jewish people and Muslim people who have been murdered in synagogue, in church, in supermarkets, in mosque, by white supremacists,” she said.

That's not accurate, Jim Jordan said they are withholding the testimony because the whistleblower requested it. So now the witnesses get to dictate the rules!
