Trump insists he won in 2020 when pressed by Bret Baier about how he'll get women back in 2024

Speaking to Fox host Bret Baier on Monday, former President Donald Trump maintained that he was not only winning in 2024, but that he won "big" in 2020.

Baier forced Trump to look at the poll numbers of women that are fleeing the Republican Party, particularly after the overturning of Roe v. Wade. While there was always support for upholding abortion rights, it was never as high as it is now. NPR cited a poll showing 4 in 5 voters now support the right to an abortion.

Baier asked Trump how he can win back such voters with that strategy.

"You're not looking at the right polls," Trump told Baier.

"What do you tell that female, independent voter that voted against you in 2020," Baier asked.

"First of all, I won in 2020 by a lot, okay?" Trump said with a twinge of anger. "Let's get that straight. I won in 2020."

"You know, that's not what — that's not," Baier tried to correct him.

"And if you look at all of the tapes, if you look at everything that you want to look at — you take a look at 'Truth to Vote' where they have people stuffing the ballot boxes on tapes, or

"Mr. President, those were all looked into," Baier corrected.

Trump immediately pivoted to attack Hunter Biden, rambled about the FBI and Twitter and then claimed everything was corrupt.

"But you lost the 2020 election," said Baier.

Appearing to call him "Brad," Trump said that the "stuffed ballots" and "all of the things, including the 51 intelligence agents."

Baier said that there were recounts in all 50 states.

"We're trying to get recounts, real recounts," Trump claimed.

Baier said that there was no evidence of widespread corruption and not a single instance of it. "There were lawsuits more than 50 of them by your lawyers, some in front of judges you appointed."

"Look a Wisconsin," Trump said with no context.

"With no evidence," Baiercut in.

Trump claimed Wisconsin "practically admitted it was all rigged. Other states are doing the same and it continues to be rigged..."

Baier quoted the instances of voter fraud that were investigated.

"You know why Bret because they weren't looking at the right things, Bret," Trump said.

The interview continued in that fashion for several minutes.

Trump never answered how he would address concerns of suburban, independent women.

June 19 (UPI) -- John Durham will testify before two House committees later this week a month after authoring a special counsel report on the FBI's investigation into former President Donald Trump's ties with Russia.

Durham, who was appointed special counsel by Trump-appointed Attorney General William Barr, was critical of the FBI's handling of an investigation into the former president. In his report on the "Crossfire Hurricane" investigation, Durham accused the FBI of acting on confirmation bias.

On Tuesday, Durham will testify in a closed hearing with the House Intelligence Committee starting at 3 p.m. EDT. On Wednesday, he will testify before the House Judiciary Committee at 9 a.m. That hearing will be livestreamed.

The Durham report followed a four-year investigation into allegations that Trump had colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election. The FBI did not find sufficient evidence to bring charges against the former president.

"There was a complete lack of information from the Intelligence Community that corroborated the hypothesis upon which the Crossfire Hurricane investigation was predicated," Durham wrote in the report.

"In short, it is the office's assessment that the FBI discounted or willfully ignored material information that did not support the narrative of a collusive relationship between Trump and Russia."

Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., said he would like to discuss measures to "restore integrity" in the FBI. Biggs is a member of the Judiciary committee.

"I look forward to unpacking his report on how the FBI unjustly targeted President Trump and conservatives and also discussing what we can do to restore integrity in the agency," Biggs tweeted Monday.

 

Then by Trump's logic, he is ineligible to run in 2024.

They just don't see that the constant excusing of poor behavior by despicables while attacking any deplorable suspected of less than stellar behavior is why so many do not trust government or politicians.

triggered. But I will actually play along this time. Show us what Durham actually testified to not what some treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican said he was going to.

Because this is another one where the silence seems to be deafening. I have been looking around for what Durham actually said in the hearing and haven't found anything. And surely there would be big stories on it if Durham actually said what your story claims.

So show us his actual testimony.

See, a closed hearing means the testimony is not generally disclosed and reporters are not allowed.
That might explain why you aren't seeing any stories.
And shooter won't be able to do a compare and contrast of the story shooter posted compared to Durhams testimony.

So take a breath, try to relax, and get some rest Opie.
Look forward to his testimony tomorrow. Then you can twirl and stamp your feet and vomit.

But while you wait perhaps you can compare and contrast the propaganda you posted about all the violence we were warned about at trumps arraignment compared to what actually took place.

 

Why is a closed hearing instead of in public? His report was publicly released. Why would they want a hearing behind closed doors if he is going to say what they claim he is? What to hey have to fear? What are they trying to hide? Isn't this like a secret star chamber?

So the media are reporting on Durham's testimony in an OPEN HEARING today.
Now of course, Adam (shifty) Schiff, one of the members, wanted to relive the days of the Mueller report, and fired several barbs at Durham when Durham declined to be a bobble head and just agree to whatever slime Schiff wanted to toss out there.
But, Schiff did make one telling statement that bears repeating;

"Schiff: Well, it is illegal to conspire to get incriminating opposition research from a hostile government that is of financial value to a campaign. Wouldn’t that violate campaign laws?"​

Well duh. Isn't that exactly what the Steele Dossier was all about?

But then we have the actual damning testimony of John Durham about his investigation uncovering what Trump has said all along; a weaponized FBI/DOJ in a concerted effort to attack a political opponent of Hillary Clinton.
A weaponized FBI/DOJ that at minimum, abandoned it's mission, it's ethics, and it's purpose to get Trump, no matter what it took.

"We found troubling violations of law and policy in consequential investigations concerning a presidential campaign and ultimately a presidential administration........"
"It appears that FBI leadership dismissed and ignored very real concerns about the legality of obtaining FISA warrants for an American citizen."

Perhaps the truth will be coming out now.
One thing for sure, it isn't going to be in the form of a well edited and produced circus like the Nancy Antoinette star chamber circus was.

 

You always tell the same lies over and over and over again trying to achieve the illusion of truth. It was no more illegal for the Clinton campaign and DNC to hire Fusion GPS for opo research on Trump than it was for the Trump campaign to hire Cambridge Analytica in the UK. But Robert Mueller in his report did admit this was illegal.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras [a Moscow-based developer who tried to partner with Trump in a hotel project] this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary [Clinton] and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.



This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr Trump – helped along by Aras and Emin.

What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly?
