I've been a political junky since I was about 6 years old. And I started watching Speakers of the House in my teenage years because I figured out they have as much power as the president. Tip O'Neill was my favorite. Until Nancy Pelosi came along and she was just hands down by a mile the best Speaker I have ever seen. She never failed to deliver the votes and they only let her be Speaker in times of extreme crisis which she guided the nation through like the hand that rocks the cradle.

But just as impressive if not more so is what Pelosi did after the lost the Speakership in 2011. Because for the next 10 years she put her head down and went to work every day, was a constant force to be reckoned with, and was a better Speaker in the minority than the Republicans were in the majority.

And no one had more strength courage and skill at dealing with Trump than Pelosi. And she is still doing it and still terrifies Trump.

The Traitor Trump shit show is still ongoing because he is still the dictator of the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican party with MTG second in command. Traitor Trump remains their Chosen One Cult Leader that they must always obey, never question, never defy, and always praise. And its laughable that some treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans pretend Trump should just be dismissed.

And Pelosi is one of the best at describing that. And with great humor at that. Because I think most people will see it as Kevin The Coward's nuts shriveling up in fear of MTG and Trump.

Nancy Pelosi Uses Unforgettable Hand Gesture To Describe Kevin McCarthy

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) let her fingers do the talking on Wednesday as she described what’s happening to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).

Pelosi put McCarthy on blast for opening an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden, which she said was part of a deal he made with his party’s extremists that forces him to cave to their demands or risk losing the gavel.

“You have to impeach the president or else we’re going to vacate the chair of speaker. You have to shut down government or else we’re going to vacate the chair of speaker,” she said to CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “This is not responsible governance, but it’s the chaos on the Republican side.”

Cooper asked if that put McCarthy in an “impossible situation.”

“Yeah,” Pelosi agreed, calling it “the incredibly shrinking speakership.”

As she spoke, she made a gesture of something shriveling up, or perhaps being crushed:

Pelosi has something of a history of actions speaking louder than words, such as the time she tore up the paper copy of then-President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech, and a photo from the Trump White House that shows her literally standing up to him.

See her full interview with Cooper below:

Clearly stumbler has a crush on Nancy Antoinette.

Hey stumbler, how about you try explaining how it is that Nancy Antoinette, one of the most powerful despicables in the country, managed to gain control of over 600 acres of prime San Francisco real estate the instant the feds released it, and even got the taxpayers to pay for the early prep work before it was developed and made she and her family many, many MILLIONS?

And say, stumbler, how about you explain how Nancy Antoinettes decades of insider trading is ignored even though it's supposed to be ILLEGAL?
You could start with the credit card thingy.

One of the best speakers in history? Well, that would depend on whether or not you consider the corruption Pelosi brought to the office ...........

‘Hogwash’: Pelosi smacks down McCarthy for blaming Biden impeachment inquiry on her

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is blasting her successor, Speaker Kevin McCarthy, for trying to blame her for his decision this week to open an impeachment inquiry of President Joe Biden without holding a vote in the House.

"That's hogwash," Speaker Emeritus Pelosi told MSNBC on Thursday (video below) when asked about McCarthy claiming she "made the rules and he's just following them now by not holding this initial vote for an impeachment inquiry," as "Morning Joe" co-host Willie Geist said.

"I mean, it's ridiculous," declared Pelosi, who also announced this week she will run to retain her congressional seat next year. "And I don't know why the press keeps repeating it. The fact is, we said we were going to, I assigned my committee chairs, six of them, to develop the the facts, because you have to act upon the facts – that's a strange thing to say maybe around here, but you have to act upon the facts."

"We had a couple of weeks of doing that," she added, referring to the time between her September 24, 2019 announcement and the full House impeachment inquiry vote on October 31, which passed in a 232 to 196 vote.

"They've had eight months of investigation, come up with nothing," Pelosi said of House Republicans, who have been investigating President Biden and his family. "And now they're trying to say, 'well, we're not going to have a vote because Nancy didn't have a vote the first day.' No, we had a vote. We were in preparation for vote."

"But again, this is a big deal, an impeachment. You have to do it with care and not on impulse. And until we had the case, ready, that's when we went forward. Now they again have been investigating for months, coming up with nothing and now they're going to say on the basis of nothing, we're not going to have a vote on how we go forward."

"Don't blame it on me. Take responsibility for what you were doing there and don't misrepresent the care that we took the respect that we had for the institution to go forward in a way that really address the high crimes and misdemeanors of Donald Trump."

    See how it works?
Despicables post a lot of lies and half truths and propaganda about one of their own.

They get called out on it because the ome they tried to brag on is one of the most corrupt members of congress.

Their response, because they cannot in any way justify or explain the corruption of their champion, is to defer to a totally meaningless bit of fluff.

    Former House Speaker

(D-Calif.) hit back at former President
over his claim in a new interview with “Meet the Press” anchor Kristen Welker that Pelosi was somehow to blame for the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection.

“The former occupant of the White House has always been about projection. He knows he’s responsible for that, so he projects it onto others,” Pelosi told MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart on Sunday.

“Shame on him. However, he always projects,” she added.

Pelosi also shot down Trump’s claim that she turned down soldiers on the day of the violence, saying she repeatedly “begged” him to send in troops.

“These Trumpites were attacking the Capitol, fighting the police, threatening my life and the life of the vice president,” she recalled.

“There is a sickness here, and there has to be an intervention,” Pelosi added. “That intervention has to be the election, which we have to win, and that’s one of the reasons why I am running again, to fight for our democracy, which is at stake if he is on the ballot.”

Will you let us see your tax returns?
Can you explain how you and your family came to be in control of the Hunter's Point project?
How much have you made off Hunters point, you and your family?

When Nancy Pelosi stepped down from leadership she tried really hard to stay in the shadows and give Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries a chance to establish himself as the new leader. And Jeffries has. He has proven himself in multiple ways and has the confidence of the progressive/liberal/Democratic caucus. And now its time to campaign and bring out all the resources and Pelosi is one of the biggest guns. So we are seeing lots of her.

Nancy Pelosi Says Matt Gaetz Is Only Good For 2 Things

    Former House Speaker

(D-Calif.) delivered a blunt assessment of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) after the far-right congressman revealed his plot to oust House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) from his leadership role.

Gaetz told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday that he plans to seek to remove McCarthy from the position after McCarthy worked with Democrats to narrowly avoid a shutdown of the federal government over the weekend.

Gaetz led the right-wing group of House Republicans who opposed McCarthy’s bid for the speakership in the first place. McCarthy required 15 rounds of voting to finally land the gig.

Pelosi, talking to Tapper after his conversation with Gaetz, told the CNN anchor that he was “wasting your time on that guy.”

Gaetz “has no sway” in the House “except to get on TV and to raise money on the internet,” Pelosi continued.

McCarthy, asked by CBS’s Margaret Brennan about Gaetz’s mission to depose him, responded on Sunday: “I’ll survive.”

Well. Apparently one does not fuck with royalty, even fake American royalty, without some blow back, eh?
But it would seem Nancy is most upset that she is out of town just now and can't drop everything to run and collect her things from the office she's been evicted from.
    *snicker
As if the old ........... witch would actually move her own stuff.
    Or even supervise it.
    She has people for that.
    Royalty, you see.
But Shooter does happen to know of one fellow is who will happily move the alcohol from Nancy's office refrigerator for her.
He even has experience doing that exact thing. :)

Nancy Pelosi Throws Temper Tantrum (msn.com)
    Nancy Pelosi Throws Temper Tantrum
    Story by David Rufful •11h

Nancy Pelosi was ordered to vacate her office at the Capitol this week by House Speaker pro-tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC).

Pelosi was sent an email regarding her eviction that read, “Please vacate the space tomorrow, the room will be re-keyed.”

The email went on to clarify that the office would now be allotted “for speaker office use.” (Trending: Renown Doctor Obliterates COVID Vaccine)

It’s unclear why Pelosi wasn’t already removed, but apparently former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy let her stick around.

Pelosi grew furious over the demand, which sparked reactions on social media. “Pelosi threw a temper tantrum when asked to vacate her office and has threatened Rep. Patrick McHenry,” one person said.

“With all of the important decisions that the new Republican Leadership must address, which we are all eagerly awaiting, one of the first actions taken by the new Speaker Pro Tempore was to order me to immediately vacate my office in the Capitol,” Pelosi stated following the eviction.

“Sadly, because I am in California to mourn the loss of and pay tribute to my dear friend Dianne Feinstein, I am unable to retrieve my belongings at this time,” she added.

“This eviction is a sharp departure from tradition,” Pelosi went on.

“As Speaker, I gave former Speaker [Dennis] Hastert a significantly larger suite of offices for as long as he wished.”

“Now that the new Republican Leadership has settled this important matter, let’s hope they get back to work on what’s truly important for the American people,” she exclaimed. (Trending: Democrats Prioritize Illegals Over U.S. Military Veterans)

In addition to letting Pelosi stay in her office, former speaker Kevin McCarthy is accused of failing to uphold conservative principles and instead advancing Joe Biden’s radical left-wing agenda.

Eight Republicans voted with every Democrat who was present. The final vote was 216 to 210 in favor of McCarthy’s ouster.

Republican Matt Gaetz, who introduced the motion, said McCarthy made an agreement when he became Speaker, but Congress still has had “no vote on term limits or on balanced budgets, as the agreement demanded and required.”

“There’s been no full release of the January 6 tapes, as you promised,” Gaetz added. “There’s been insufficient accountability for the Biden crime family.”

“Instead of cutting spending to raise the debt limit, you relied on budgetary gimmicks and rescissions so that you ultimately ended up serving as the valet to underwrite Biden’s debt and advance his spending agenda,” Gaetz explained.

“Mr. Speaker, you boasted in January that we would use the power of the subpoena and the power of the purse. But here we are eight months later and we haven’t even sent the first subpoena to Hunter Biden.”

“That’s how you know that the rushed and, you know, somewhat rattled performance you just saw from the speaker isn’t real. At this point during Democrat control over the House of Representatives, they had already brought in Don Jr. three times,” Gaetz said. (Trending: Woman Raised in USSR Says Biden’s DOJ Acts Like KGB)

“We haven’t even sent the first subpoena to Hunter Biden. Power of the subpoena. And power of the purse, only thing the 118th Congress is known for at this point is electing Kevin McCarthy speaker and underwriting Biden’s debt and unfortunately there’s only one of those things we can remediate at this time,” he added.

Gaetz concluded, “Our leadership right now is asking us to vote for a continuing resolution, a vote for a continuing resolution is a vote to continue the green new deal, a vote to continue inflationary spending, and the most troubling of fashions, a vote for a continuing resolution is a vote to continue the election interference of Jack Smith.”

“Chaos is Speaker McCarthy. Chaos is somebody who we cannot trust with their word,” Gaetz said as McCarthy looked down at his lap.

Prior to the vote, McCarthy reportedly told Gaetz to “bring it on.”

“That’s nothing new,” McCarthy said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

“Yes, I’ll survive. You know, this is personal with Matt. Matt voted against the most conservative ability to protect our border, secure our border. He’s more interested in securing TV interviews than doing something.”

He added: “So be it, bring it on. Let’s get over with it and let’s start governing.”

And did you notice this is what amounts to being furious and throwing a fit. At least according to America Insider and treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans.

    Not this.

And what is so fucking hilarious is its the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans who are furious because the Democrats didn't jump in ans save them and Kevin The Coward from their own shit show. They really did think that once again the Democrats would save McCarthy after he lied about Trump and J6. Lied when he made the debt ceiling deal and lied Sunday trying to blame Democrats for the government shutdown they saved his ass from.

New dress code: Senate unanimously passes bipartisan business attire policy (msn.com)
the Senate has unanimously passed a formal dress code requiring business attire on the chamber floor, including a coat, tie and slacks for men.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., had quietly changed the dress code last week to allow casual dress, sparking backlash from both sides of the aisle. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., , known for his more laid-back wardrobe of shorts and a hoodie, was at the center of the clothing controversy.

Led by Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Republican Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah, the new resolution reverses Schumer’s original decision.

"The United States Capitol is more than just a place of work − it serves as a symbol of freedom and democracy to the world," Romney said Wednesday. "Hard work was done, and sacrifices made, to ensure that our legislative branch of government wasn’t just housed in some tent. As senators, we should demonstrate a high level of reverence for the institution in which we serve − and our attire is one of the most basic expressions of that respect."
