Cassidy Hutchinson is right and we see the same thing here everyday. Treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican men are raving hypocrites and cowards at heart

Cassidy Hutchinson shames Bill Barr for 'egregious form of partisanship' over Trump 2024

Cassidy Hutchinson, the former aide to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, told MSNBC's Jen Psaki that former Attorney General Bill Barr needs to think again when it comes to who he plans to vote for in 2024.

A Washington Post report was published Monday revealing some male Republican staffers of former President Donald Trump were trepidatious about coming forward against the ex-president because they didn't want to be labeled a Democrat.

Incorrectly, however, the Post claims that former Trump staffers have "blanketed the airwaves, giving scathing speeches, testifying on camera in front of congressional committees and penning books..." While the Trump White House women have been willing to come forward and speak out consistently, the men continue to hide behind their bylines or on high-brow panel discussions. Barr will pop up occasionally on conservative media, but he's been mostly blacklisted from the pro-Trump conservative world.

Gen. John Kelly opts to put his message out in the New York Times or speaking to attendees at an Aspen Institute event. It's something former Republican Tim Miller said is woefully inadequate.

Psaki explained, "Many of these aides [the Post] spoke with don't want Trump to be president again. They are loathed to be helping a democrat. And members of this group, including former Attorney General Bill Barr, have argued that Trump is both unfit, of course, to serve, has probably committed crimes, but they may still vote for him over a Democrat."

Hutchinson told Barr to get a clue.

"There was a point that I felt that way too. I am not proud of that. But what I will say to that is that it is an egregious form of partisanship," she said of Barr. "Donald Trump is not a Republican. Yes, maybe by name, he considers himself a Republican. But Donald Trump cares more about the authoritarian role than he does the rule of law."

She then blasted Trump for not caring about the U.S. Constitution.

"He cares about leveraging it for his own power and his own gain," she continued. "So, when you look at this next election, you need to think about if you want our democracy to survive, who'd reelect that we can fit in the Oval Office that has the character, integrity, and grit to be able to carry our country through this moment in time. And that person isn't Donald Trump."

Hutchinson went on to say that her door was completely shut to voting for Donald Trump. She said she's hopeful Trump isn't the nominee, but "what I will say is that I think everyone should vote for Joe Biden if they want our democracy to survive."

Among the other things she explained is that people have to stop talking down to Republican voters. Yes, she conceded, there are a number of Republican Trump supporters who will never change. However, there are others that will. Attacking Trump's character flaws makes them defensive about him.

"And I know that because that is how I used to feel," she explained. "It wasn't really until, you know, I went through the trials with the committee the first few times that eventually switched legal counsel from Trump-funded legal counsel to my own independent legal counsel — and it wasn't really until I retained my own independent legal counsel when I was finally free of everything Trump where my horizon began to open."

Until that point, she felt like she was being talked at, and she had to come to the realization herself that "his character flaws make him uniquely unsuited for the Office of the Presidency and should be nowhere near the Oval Office ever again."

Hutchinson said that she intends to use her role to speak out about her experience with Trump to explain to voters why he is not the right person for the job.

Wonder when her testimony ---- all of it---- will be released?

    We know she lied.
    She said so herself.
Be fun to match her first testimony with the second testimony.
The testimony after she got her book deal.
And had to actually write the book.

MSNBC's Mika sticks knife in Donald Trump's mental decline 'sarcasm' defense

After regular "Morning Joe" panelist Jonathan Lemire interrupted a discussion about Joe Biden's accomplishments as president to report that Donald Trump was defensively posting about accusations he is in mental decline, co-host Mika Brezinski smirked — and then shot it down.

In a rambling post early Monday morning, the former president claimed that when he mistook Barack Obama for Joe Biden, he was being sarcastic, writing, "No, I know both names very well, never mix them up, and know that they are destroying our Country. Also, and as reported, I just took a cognitive test as part of my Physical Exam, and ACED it. Also ACED (a perfect score!) one taken while in the White House."

    MSNBC's Mika wasn't buying it.

As Lemire read portions of the Truth Social post, Brzezinski began listing off Trump comments and gaffes, starting with, "Were you being sarcastic when you told everyone to run to the Capitol? Were you being sarcastic when you said you'd take dirt on a political rival from a foreign leader? Was that sarcasm? Just curious."

She added, "Were you being sarcastic when you told America that our war dead were losers? Was that sarcasm? What about S---hole countries? I could do this for four hours, it wouldn't be enough time."

Trump's 'America sucks' Thanksgiving weekend meltdown torn apart by Morning Joe panel

Led by co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mike Brzezinski, MSNBC's "Morning Joe" panel on Monday ripped into Donald Trump for his 2 AM Thanksgiving morning rage-post on Truth Social, which was followed by a holiday weekend of more angry diatribes on the social media platform.

The segment kicked off with the two hosts alternately reading segments of the post that began, "Happy Thanksgiving to ALL, including the Racist & Incompetent Attorney General of New York State, Letitia 'Peekaboo' James, who has let Murder & Violent Crime FLOURISH, & Businesses FLEE; the Radical Left Trump Hating Judge, a 'Psycho,' Arthur Engoron, who Criminally Defrauded the State of New York, & ME, by purposely Valuing my Assets at a “tiny” Fraction of what they are really worth in order to convict me of Fraud before even a Trial," before the former president concluded with raging at, "all of the other Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, Fascists, Marxists, Democrats, & RINOS, who are seriously looking to DESTROY OUR COUNTRY. Have no fear, however, we will WIN the Presidential Election of 2024, & MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!"

Noting the four-times indicted president's post wasn't exactly in the Thanksgiving spirit, host Scarborough summed it and other posts throughout the weekend as Trump stating unequivocally "America sucks."

"Talk about how sick it is to say that America is a rotten nation before you were president of the United States, American carnage, and then you become president of the United States and America has four of the most tumultuous years later, and the second he leaves and is blamed by the American people, he goes back to saying that America sucks again," said Scarborough. "How grotesque that Donald Trump only thinks America is great when Donald Trump is president."

"Yeah, because he doesn't care about America nearly as much as he cares about himself," replied Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO).

ALSO READ: These 10 legislators have also broken a federal disclosure law, just like George Santos

"I'm sorry, Claire, you could have stopped after America, could have just put a period there. Because there is no evidence over the last eight years that I've ever seen that shows that Donald Trump cares a damn about America. He just doesn't. He cares about himself," Scarborough replied.

"He cares about himself, he has no guiding philosophy, he has no ideology, he has no policies he really believes in, other than the guy -- the only thing he believes in is the guy he sees in the mirror, that he looks at probably more often than is ever healthy for any human being." McCaskill added. "And his marketing is all about grievance. He is a marketer, a guy who knows how to market things, not build them, just market them. he is marketing always just to grievance, never to unity, never to aspirational hope we all want America to have, never pride in America, just grievance."

After Scarborough noted Trump's attacks on Joe Biden's age, McCaskill replied, "Frankly, on mental capabilities, you know, the ageism thing, look at the way Donald Trump behaves. Who is more unstable? Who is the one who doesn't know where he is part of the time, doesn't know who he is running against, doesn't know what year it is, doesn't know world leaders and what countries they're from?"

"It is really, if you isolate his comments and look at them objectively, he is the one who is suffering from a problem related to declining ability in later life, not Joe Biden," she added.

Well by all means Clarise let's see you put your efforts where your mouth is. You show us MSNBC's proven lies and I will show you Fox's and we will see which is more credible.

Which of course you won't do because all you have ever been able to do is run your mouth and tell lies but never try to defend them. Because you can't.

    Just like right here.

I don;t think Kevin The Coward could come with a more laughable and humiliating lie. But he could always surprise me. But in the meantime he is going to pay very dearly for this one.

Morning Joe Laughs Hysterically at Kevin McCarthy Rushing to Trump’s Side Over Reported Loss of Appetite: ‘Hell of a Job’

    Ken MeyerNov 29th, 2023, 7:42 am

The ensemble of Morning Joe was highly entertained by the part of former Rep. Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) upcoming memoir, where she revealed Kevin McCarthy’s ludicrous excuse for groveling before Donald Trump.

As the MSNBC show got in gear Wednesday morning, Joe Scarborough brought up the previewed excerpt of Oath and Honor, in which Cheney recalls how she confronted the former House speaker for flying down to Mar-a-Lago and politically rehabilitating Trump just weeks after January 6th.

Even though McCarthy just held the former president personally responsible for his supporters who attacked the U.S. Capitol, McCarthy tried to quell Cheney’s outrage over the pilgrimage by telling her, “Trump’s not eating, so they asked me to come see him.”

That anecdote has already drawn a great deal of ridicule for McCarthy, and Morning Joe helplessly giggled as Scarborough said, “If Kevin McCarthy’s job was to go down to Mar-a-Lago to get Donald eating again, well, he did a hell of a job! Because that ain’t been a problem since.”

“You know, maybe if he said, ‘I got to go down to Mar-a-Aago because Donald is cheating on his wind sprints,’ we’d believe that” Scarborough added. “But he’s not eating? I don’t believe it!”

Scarborough kept on laughing as Willie Geist visualized McCarthy rushing to Trump’s bedside as if he were on the verge of death.

“Come on!” Scarborough exclaimed through the laughter. “You really wanna go down to Mar-a-Lago that bad? C’mon Kevin! Make a better excuse than that.”

That would have prevented Rush Limbaugh from having a career. Limbaugh's lies were documented as early as 1994.

MSNBC's Jen Psaki fires back at Trump over his 'crazy' threat aimed at her network

    Tom Boggioni
    December 3, 2023 2:01PM ET

    Jen Psaki (MSNBC screenshot)

Former White House press secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki fired back at Donald Trump on Sunday, mocking his "crazy, unhinged," threat to go after her network in a Truth Social post.

On November 28, the former president raged, "MSNBC (MSDNC) uses FREE government approved airwaves, and yet it is nothing but a 24 hour hit job on Donald J. Trump and the Republican Party for purposes of ELECTION INTERFERENCE. Brian Roberts, its Chairman and CEO, is a slimeball who has been able to get away with these constant attacks for years. It is the world’s biggest political contribution to the Radical Left Democrats who, by the way, are destroying our Country. Our so-called 'government' should come down hard on them and make them pay for their illegal political activity. Much more to come, watch!"

After noting it "sounded just like another one of those crazy, unhinged rants" that Americans have become accustomed to from the four-time indicted, twice impeached former president, she first joked, "He also talked about himself in the third person — always a red flag in my book, and he included his middle initial in that too."

Then she took him to school on how freedom of the press works in the United States.

"Trump is promising to resort to an authoritarian tactic should he become president again," she explained. "Does the federal government have any role in the oversight of a cable news network? No they actually don't. But that's not the point here. What's important is that he's threatening to use the power of the government against media he believes is being critical of him."

"Believe me, I know from experience from many days and hours at the briefing room, that the relationship between the U.S. government and the free press can be tense at times," she explained. "And even both of the presidents I worked for, they had their own moments of unleashing their media critiques when they didn't like a story. and when I think about the role of the free press and how essential it is for our democracy. I also think about my time as a spokesperson for the State Department."

ALSO READ: How Trump’s mouth is killing American exceptionalism

After recalling her experiences with one critic of the administration's policies, she added, "It's actually a threat to the free press. A threat to democracy. And that threat comes at a time when a record total of 533 journalists are currently detained worldwide ; that's according to Reporters Without Borders. A large number of them are being held by the sorts of authoritarian regimes that Trump envisions creating here at home."

First a programming note. Liz Cheney will be a guest on the Rachel Maddow show at 9 pm est. She will of course be discussing her new book. It should be good.

And now there are starting to be quite a few people who know Trump or worked for him noticing his dramatic mental decline. Which is the real reason Trump will not debate. He cannot debate because he can only function off his teleprompter. And even then can't keep things straight.

'He doesn't look right': Morning Joe raises new alarms about Trump's behavior

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough raised alarms about Donald Trump's health and behavior as he seeks a second term as president.

The "Morning Joe" host and Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg discussed Trump's autocratic plans for another term in the White House, and they agreed that threat to democracy had not been covered properly.

"Why is it that when Hillary Clinton says the word 'deplorable' in a speech, it is banner headlines for a month, it seems," Scarborough said. "When Donald Trump uses Nazi terminology to degrade human beings, uses 'vermin,' you hardly hear about it. Why is that?"

"I think it is normalization," Goldberg said. "I think it's this process where, one of the great attributes of human beings is we can get used to anything, right? So we got used to this, and we just accepted it as background noise. I mean, he does have these -- this particular superpower, in that he goes further than anybody in rhetoric, and we kind of go, 'Yeah, it's just Donald Trump.' We have to reverse that and just say, 'No, no, no, no, no – this is a former president of the United States.' If Barack Obama, if George W. Bush said the things, as a former president, not running again, that Donald Trump said, we'd have huge stories about, 'Former president loses mind,' right? Meanwhile, Donald Trump is the putative nominee for the presidency, and here we are. We act like it's normal."

"That's why this issue is so important," agreed co-host Mika Brzezinski. "It is normalization and we need to reverse that, because normalization is exactly how it starts, and it is dangerous."

"If Barack Obama had said a general should have been executed, how long would that -- how long?" Scarborough added. "How long would that be banner headlines on the front pages? There is something wrong with Donald Trump. I'm serious, he doesn't look right up on stage, he doesn't. You look at him – we've known him."

Rachel Maddow mocks 'tough guy Republicans' with 'hurt feelings' thanks to Liz Cheney

Liz Cheney will call out the wrong and doesn't care about feelings and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow is here for every minute of it.

"Now, I'm used to seeing these Republicans, all these 'tough guy Republicans' talking about how much she hurts their feelings," Maddow told Lawrence O'Donnell as they chatted before handing it over to "The Last Word."

Maddow is convinced that Cheney, who is doing the television rounds to plug her book: "Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning" is fearless when she takes on her former congressional colleagues.

"She's unafraid to do it," Maddow said. "It is worth doing it because of the stakes she defines so clearly. It is a remarkable thing."

It wasn't entirely a glowing reunion between the host and Cheney.

In fact, Maddow began the show airing some grievances over policy disagreements and her frustrations in not snagging an interview with her 13 years ago.

But overall, for Maddow, the former Wyoming lawmaker has proven herself to be a brash person who refuses to cuddle anyone if they're culpable or malfeasance.

"She is not shy about saying what people are doing wrong," Maddow said. "She doesn't try to make people feel better about it when they're doing something wrong. She doesn't go out of her way to say, 'Oh, I understand, you had a hard childhood', or whatever."

For Cheney, the purpose is to call out the misadventures no matter who it is and without excuses.

Maddow said that Cheney believes in saying, "You are doing the wrong thing at a time when your country needs to do the right thing; I'm going to call you wrong for doing it."

Having that "certain courage of convictions" to expose people "screwing up" is something that proves that Washington and its direction are in need of a "course correct."

You can read Raw Story's full coverage of Cheney's book here.

Liz Cheney is being interviewed by Nicolle Wallace right now on MSNBC. Her book is more riveting than I expected. And Cheney is great at conveying what happened on J6 and the threat we are facing to our Constitutional Republic.
