You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

Why yes, yes indeed. For once understand history and the facts before spewing from the hip.

    Pardons for ex-Confederates - Wikipedia
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Both during and after the American Civil War, pardons for ex-Confederates were given by US Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson and were usually extended for those who had served in the military above the rank of colonel or civilians who had exercised political power under the Confederate government. The power to pardon offences to the US government was given to the chief executive in the US Constitution under Article II.

    Abraham Lincoln[edit]
On December 8, 1863, in his annual message to Congress, President Lincoln outlined his plans for reconstruction of the South, which included terms for amnesty to former Confederates. A pardon would require an oath of allegiance, but it would not restore ownership to former slaves, or restore confiscated property which involved a third party. The pardon excluded office holders of the Confederate government or persons who had mistreated prisoners.[1] Congress, however, objected to Lincoln's plans as being too lenient and refused to recognize delegates from the reconstructed governments of Louisiana and Arkansas. Congress instead passed the Wade–Davis Bill, which required half of any former Confederate state's voters to swear allegiance to the United States and also swear that they had not supported the Confederacy. The bill also ended slavery, but did not allow former slaves to vote. President Lincoln vetoed the bill. During his presidency Lincoln issued 64 pardons for war-related offences; 22 for conspiracy, 17 for treason, 12 for rebellion, 9 for holding an office under the Confederacy, and 4 for serving with the rebels.[2]

If Trump is found guilty of crimes, he should be disqualified.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime, eh

Well, but according to despicables trump is crazy and senile.
They can't charge biden for any crimes he's done and they can't convict trump for any crimes he's comitted.

But the good news, silty, is you can't be charged either.

Well does Trump believe his 2020 election fraud allegations? Or not?

If he does, on what did he base those allegations?

    Simple questions, eh

Bill Maher hopes SCOTUS strikes down Colorado's Trump ballot ban: 'I just don't think this is the way'
Maher cast doubt in Colorado's case, saying it's 'a little murky' to call Jan. 6 an 'insurrection'
By Joseph A. Wulfsohn Fox News read here.

"Real Time" host Bill Maher offered his approval of the Supreme Court's expected ruling to strike down Colorado's ballot ban of former President Trump, insisting it's not "the way" to go about defeating him in 2024.

Maher kicked off a panel discussion Friday night by saying the courts "are gonna be everything in this election" and that they'll ultimately be "the decider."

He first approvingly cited the federal appeals court's ruling that Trump was not immune from prosecution in the 2020 election case. He then expressed frustration that "we may not even get the big trial" before November because the courts are "moving too slow."

It's been fun looking back to page 1 here and laughing at all the self-important, delusional, idiotic blather...

Another clueless trumptard. SCOTUS ruled that individual states can't ban candidates. That's up to congress.

Der Fuhrer is still facing 91 indictments. His fate will be decided in courts of law.

The thing is, even if he was found guilty on all current charges, he can still become POTUS

Was SCOTUS asked to rule on whether Trump was engaged in insurrection?
    No.

In order for that to reach SCOTUS, there are some steps.
    1) Establish legally that an insurrection has taken place. No court has yet to do this - a bunch of Lefttards running around screaming 'INSURRECTION!!!' does not make it so.
    2) Trump would have had to have been charged with engaging in insurrection. He has not ever been so charged.
    3) Trump would have had to have been found guilty of insurrection. But, without even being charged with it, he can't be found guilty - unless you're the blowhards on the CO Supreme court - or any of the other assholes, from Maine to Chicago who think they are abovce the letter of the law.

I know this is hard to understand for people who are far more impressed with what they feel is their intelligence than they have any reasonable right to be.

An afterthought on the post above this:

Facts are: This was a 9 - 0 Supreme Court unanimous decision... There was no dissent, not even form the liberal judges.

Looks like the Court is sending a clear message that leftwing liberal activist judges will not be deciding this election.

It other words, bad news for biden and a clear victory for Trump....

Senile biden is done..... He doesn't have the stamina nor the mental acuity to run a campaign...

Trump on the other hand can probably outdo most men half his age.

Dementia joe is ready to retreat to his basement for the 2024 campaign.....:hilarious:

    They will not fail.
    Whatever it takes.
Keep trump off the ballot and out of the oval office.
    Laws don't matter.
    The constitution doesn't matter.
If we have to destroy all America has ever stood for to keep it from trump it is what we will do.
    Bout cover it, despicables?
