Lions, tigers, and bears! Oh my!

Now that Comer and Jorden have proven themselves to be Grade-G (for gullible) chumps, why do you have such faith in their judgment? They said Smirnoff was very credible and said Chris Wray told them so.

Maybe they aren't gullible at all, just disingenuous liars who think you're the gullible one, who can be counted on to repeat their lies. Do you think Comer and Jorden can be trusted to carry out their duties, after such a dumbfuck error in judgment?

Are you denying the existence of those bank accounts and shell companies then?

Part of the effort to discount the investigation into biden family crimes?

If despicables can use lies in the steele dossier to skewer trump, where do you get the high moral ground now?

The highly credible whistle blower didn't exist, so I'll wait for the truth to be revealed about the bank accounts and shell companies. Comer and Jordon fell for one ruse, why should anyone think they're right about anything else?

As I have repeated many times, if anyone named Biden has committed a crime, they should be brought to trial and judged based on the facts and the evidence. I have no personal interest in their welfare, other than seeing the rule of law carried out. I do not believe anyone is above the law, even if their politics happen to align with mine.

I don't feel like I'm on moral high ground. It just looks like that to you because MAGA is in a hole and keeps digging deeper.

There's not much chance of falling in that hole, unless I start cheating on my taxes and my wife.

A lesson I learned a long time ago still serves me today. Just because you want something to be true, doesn't make it anymore credible. Apparently Comer and Jordon never took that class and that's giving more credit than they maybe due. There's every chance they knew the whistleblower was bogus and thought they could still use his statements to damage Biden's reelection campaign. Jordon is the one who shielded a sexual predator, so there's no reason to think he wouldn't lie to his supporters to further his political agenda, which has become a moral sink hole.

Judge ordered rearrest of FBI informant charged with Biden lies over fears he would flee

A federal judge in California issued a warrant for the rearrest of former FBI informant Alexander Smirnov after federal prosecutors convinced the judge that the man at the center of House Republicans' ongoing impeachment inquiry was "likely" planning to flee the United States.

Smirnov, charged with making what prosecutors say were politically motivated false allegations about President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, was initially picked up by federal authorities at the airport in Las Vegas last week after returning from an international flight. On Tuesday, a federal magistrate judge in Nevada ordered Smirnov released with a GPS monitor. Now, an order from a federal judge in California — where the case was brought and will unfold going forward — reveals that the federal judge overseeing the case ordered Smirnov rearrested.

"It has come to this Court’s attention that counsel for defendant has sought an emergency hearing in the District of Nevada to arrange the release of Defendant Smirnov, likely to facilitate his absconding from the United States," U.S. District Judge Otis D. Wright wrote in an order unsealed Friday. Wright wrote that he "issued an arrest warrant specifying that upon his arrest Defendant should be brought promptly to this Court," bolding his order for emphasis.

Wright ordered the U.S. Marshals Service to bring Smirnov to his courtroom in Los Angeles for a hearing on Monday, and that "there is to be no deviation from this Order."

Smirnov's false allegations about bribes to the Bidens were at the "heart" of the ongoing impeachment inquiry by House Republicans, although leaders of the impeachment inquiry are seeking to downplay the extent to which they relied upon the false allegations during their investigation.

The alleged lies that Smirnov told the FBI were documented in a FBI file back in 2020, according to prosecutors. In a filing this week, prosecutors said Smirnov “is actively peddling new lies that could impact U.S. elections after meeting with Russian intelligence officials in November.”

David Z. Chesnoff and Richard A. Schonfeld, attorneys for Smirnov, said they are "advocating for Mr. Smirnov’s release in both the federal [district] court and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals" but would have "no comment on the case and look forward to appearing in the appropriate federal court."

Jim Jordan throws Biden 'informant' under the bus: 'Maybe the guy did lie — I don't know'

    Fox News/screen grab

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) admitted that former FBI informant Alexander Smirnov may have lied when he tried to connect President Joe Biden to allegedly corrupt business dealings.

During a Sunday interview on Fox News, host Maria Bartiromo noted that Smirnov had twice been arrested for making false statements after Republicans used intelligence he provided to the FBI to attack Biden.

"Chairman Jordan, I find it really stunning that Smirnov gets indicted, and they say that it's because he got information from Russians, and it was not true," Bartiromo said. "You all have been unable to pin anybody down about what we know to be true now, that the Russia collusion story was a lie and that Steele dossier was made up."

"How come Christopher Steele was never indicted?" she asked.

"Yeah, no kidding, he continued to get paid after they found out what he told the FBI wasn't true," Jordan opined. "And of course, now we have this Smirnov guy, and he gets indicted and arrested not once but twice."

ALSO READ: Mitt Romney defends Biden from 'politically charged' special counsel report

"Here's the interesting thing about Smirnov, David Weiss, the guy who's been investigating Hunter Biden for now almost five years, David Weiss had this information, the [FBI 1023 form] back in 2020," he continued. "What did he do for the last three years? What did he do for the last three and a half years? Why didn't he look into it before?"

But Jordan admitted he did not know if Smirnov was telling the truth about Biden's business dealings.

"And now, maybe the guy did lie, I don't know," the Ohio lawmaker said. "The other thing is, as you point out, in 2016, it was Trump-Russia collusion. We found out that was garbage."

"In 2020, it was, oh, the laptops of Russian information operation," he added. "We knew that was garbage. And now here we go the third time, one more time, they're bringing out this story."

"Again, maybe this Smirnov guy did lie to him. We'll have to see."

Republicans caught off guard by 'prepared and disciplined' Hunter Biden: sources

Republicans seemed to be caught off guard by Hunter Biden's preparation and discipline during a grueling, closed-door deposition.

President Joe Biden's son appeared Wednesday before the Oversight and Judiciary committees to discuss his foreign business dealings, which have become the focus of an impeachment inquiry, but Washington Post reporter Jackie Alemany told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that Republicans failed to rattle him, as they perhaps intended.

"I've been told by several sources who were in the room for that extended hearing [Wednesday] that Hunter Biden happened to be one of the most prepared, disciplined and on-message witnesses they've had appear before the committee yet," Alemany said. "[He] spoke very eloquently about a broad swath of evidence, some unsubstantiated, some presented in sort of dribs and drabs, text messages and communications, that James Comer and Republicans have cherry-picked from the mountain of records they have obtained so far."

"For anyone who thought this would be the smoking gun, the star witness, it certainly disappointed," she added, "and Hunter Biden instead spoke of a lot of instances that Republicans have pointed to as wrongdoing as examples of him under the spell of addiction, being drunk or high at the time of those communications and, quite frankly, as someone in the room told me in a readout, that he was lying about some of the times where he said his father was present to certain businesspeople, like this one text message that has often been referenced where he was in communications with a Chinese associate that he was doing business with, and texted him in a WhatsApp message that he was with his father right now. He said during that deposition that that was actually a lie, and that he was under the influence."

The younger Biden has said that he is determined to remain sober and intends to rebut GOP allegations that his father had any involvement in his business dealings, and so far House Republicans have failed to turn up any evidence of that – especially after the revelation that so-called whistleblower Alexander Smirnov was apparently working with Russian intelligence to smear the president.

"Even Fox News has quieted on several fronts of covering some of the accusations Comer's been making," Alemany said, "and he has been facing criticism from his colleagues who have not been happy with his media-centric approach where he has put forward, again, this contextless, cherry-picked evidence, gone and spoken about it, and then the evidence has when you looked into it a little bit further, fallen quite flat."

    And the spin begins.

According to news sources deplorables who heard hunters testimony the lies began shortly after then oath the tell the truth was administered.

Kinda like the wrong story reports that Fani Willis humiliated her inquisitors, eh?

Turns out her testimony exposed campaign funding violations and contradicted her earlier sworn testimony about the timing of her affair with Wade.

Jared Kushner actually worked in the White House on middle east policies. He was instrumental in supporting Saudi Arabia's blockade of Qatar until Qatar agrees to a $1 billion bailout of his 666 Fifth Avenue property to prevent outercourse.

Timeline on Jared Kushner, Qatar, 666 Fifth Avenue, and White House Policy
    https://www.justsecurity.org/69094/...atar-666-fifth-avenue-and-white-house-policy/

Then the US intelligence agencies say they have evidence Saudi Arabia's MbS ordered the killing of Jamal Khashoggi. Trump and Kushner lie and protect MbS. And then immediately after leaving the White House MbS gives Kushner $2 billion.

But no none of that needs to b e investigated. Just Hunter and Joe Biden.

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) defended former President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner on Thursday after Hunter Biden, during testimony with House lawmakers, raised questions about his foreign dealings.

Jordan said the scrutiny of Kushner, who was also an adviser to Trump, was “ridiculous.”

“The idea that Jared Kushner did something wrong is ridiculous,” Jordan told Newsmax’s Eric Bolling during a Wednesday night appearance on “The Balance.”

“I mean, the Trump family has been investigated more than any family on the planet, and what they’ve attempted to do to President Trump and been doing to President Trump over the last seven years is unbelievable,” Jordan said.

Hunter Biden appeared for a closed-door deposition Wednesday, where he was grilled by Republicans about his foreign business deals. During the process, the president’s son flipped the question back on the GOP interrogators.

“He drew the distinction between what he has done in a business world with independent businessmen, versus foreign governments, which he did not do any business with — unlike Jared Kushner,” Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday during a break in the testimony.

During his time in the Trump White House, Kushner oversaw Middle East policy. He secured a $2 billion investment from Saudi Arabia six months after leaving his Oval Office post, a deal that raised questions.

The scrutiny intensified after a 2022 New York Times report detailed how the Saudi sovereign’s advisory panel was not supportive of investing in Kushner’s private equity firm, pointing to “the inexperience of the … management.” The doubts were quashed by a bigger advisory board led by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, an ally of the Trump administration.

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.), the other House Republican spearheading the probe into Hunter Biden, said in August that Kushner “crossed the line of ethics” by accepting a $2 billion investment.

However, Comer drew a distinction at the time between the two cases, saying Kushner secured the funds after leaving office, while Hunter Biden’s deals came through while his father was the vice president.

Democrats opened a probe into Kushner when they held the majority in the lower chamber. The investigation was dropped when the GOP took back the majority.

Swalwell Trolled the Hell Out of Donald Trump During Hunter Biden Deposition: ‘Has Your Father Ever… Been Fined $355 Million?’

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) questioned Hunter Biden during a closed-door deposition on Wednesday and used his time to troll former President Donald Trump.

The House of Representatives is continuing its formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, and or more than a year, the House Oversight Committee has been probing the business activities of his son Hunter Biden. Republicans allege the elder Biden illicitly benefitted from his son’s business dealings, though they have yet to furnish proof.

On Thursday, the Oversight Committee released the deposition transcript, which shows Swalwell appearing to have a grand old time at Trump’s expense while questioning Hunter Biden. The lawmaker’s line of questioning invoked unsavory facts about the former president that do not apply to the current occupant of the White House. Among them is a $355 million judgment that a New York judge hit Trump with earlier this month after the ex-president was found liable for fraud.

Here are Swalwell’s questions and Biden’s responses:

SWALWELL: Any time your father was in government, prior to the Presidency or before, did he ever operate a hotel?

BIDEN: No, he has never operated a hotel.

SWALWELL: So he’s never operated a hotel where foreign nationals spent millions at that hotel while he was in office?

    BIDEN: No, he has not.

SWALWELL: Did your father ever employ in the Oval Office any direct family member to also work in the Oval Office?

BIDEN: My father has never employed any direct family members, to my knowledge.

SWALWELL: While your father was President, did anyone in the family receive 41 trademarks from China?

    BIDEN: No.

SWALWELL: As President and the leader of the party, has your father ever tried to install as the chairperson of the party a daughter-in-law or anyone else in the family?

BIDEN: No. And I don’t think that anyone in my family would be crazy enough to want to be the chairperson of the DNC.

SWALWELL: Has your father ever in his time as an adult been fined $355 million by any State that he worked in?

BIDEN: No, he has not, thank God.

SWALWELL: Anyone in your family ever strike a multibillion dollar deal with the Saudi Government while your father was in office?

    BIDEN: No.

    SWALWELL: That’s all I’ve got.

The “multibillion dollar deal with Saudi Government” Swalwell references is almost certainly an allusion to the $2 billion investment received by the firm of Jared Kushner from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. Kushner served as a White House adviser to his father-in-law. That money was invested a few months after Trump and Kushner exited the White House. The investment was made over the objections of the fund’s managers, who were overridden by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, a Kushner ally.

Comer knows better than anyone that his whole Hunter Biden investigation and "impeachment inquiry" is nothing but a phony, lying, scam.

They've spent months demanding Hunter Biden testify behind closed doors. And then when Hunter does Comer cant even be bothered to attend the hearing and ask questions,

'How weird is that?' Fox host baffled by James Comer skipping out on Hunter Biden hearing

Fox News host Steve Doocy came perilously close to having a revelation about the House Republican impeachment inquiry into president Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden appeared this week before the House Oversight and Judiciary committees for a closed-door deposition, where he told lawmakers he had never involved his father in his foreign business dealings The "Fox & Friends" host was confused why Rep. James Comer (R-KY), who's leading the inquiry, did not appear to participate.

"The odd thing to me, speaking of Republicans, is James Comer, who ran that committee, he apparently left the hearing early and did not ask a single question," Doocy said. "How weird is that?"

"Huh," agreed co-host Ainsley Earhardt. "Very strange."

The younger Biden dropped his demand to testify publicly after Republicans threatened to hold him in contempt, but Doocy could not fathom why Comer did not leap at the chance to question him.

"He's been calling for him to come in — 'We want Hunter Biden,'" Doocy said. "He didn't ask him a single question."

Republicans have been investigating the Biden family's business dealings for more than a year and, despite conducting dozens of interviews and combing through more than 100,000 documents, they have not produced any direct evidence of misconduct by the president.

An FBI informant who had told congressional investigators about an alleged bribery scheme involving the family has been charged with making up the story, and he admitted that he had been working with officials linked to Russian intelligence.

Hunter Biden has pleaded not guilty to firearm charges in Delaware and failure to pay taxes charges in federal court.
