Trump mocked for saying Hillary Clinton's acid 'will destroy everything within 10 miles'

Trump's having a tough time passing an acid test.

In an interview with Newsmax host Greg Kelly, former President Donald Trump seemed to accuse Bill and Hillary Clinton of getting away with questionable conduct.

"They released Hillary Clinton," he said, suggesting the former Secretary of State wasn't criminally charged for her "extremely careless" handling of classified data over a private email server.

Trump then tried to suggest Hillary wiped her computer using acid that he details is as a potentially potent chemical weapon.

"She hammered her phones," he said. "She used all sorts of acid testing on anything else. They call it BleachBit, but it's essentially acid that will destroy everything within ten miles."

"I mean what she did was unbelievable. Nothin happens to her."

The camera cuts to Kelly nodding as if in total agreement.

Hyperbole aside, this claim is factually baseless.

BleachBit isn't actually a chemical or lethal liquid, but software that "frees disk space."

And then he complained that former President Bill Clinton got away scot-free in the so-called "Socks Case."

"Nothing happens to bill Clinton He took it out in his socks," he said. "You know the famous Socks Case which he ended up winning."

It's a familiar Trump hit, as he mentioned it last year.

The case, according to LawFare dealt with tape recorded conversations between Bill Clinton and historian Taylor Branch that were meant to be a primer for the 2009 tome “The Clinton Tapes.”

Trump said Clinton had recordings in his sock drawer so that the staff wouldn't mess with the tape and prevent a leak.

Many pounced on Trump for his wild miss on the facts.

"Can Trump explain to me what kind of acid the Email Lady/ HillaryClinton used," asked @Ty22Best. "Sulfuric acid? Hydrochloric acid? Nitric acid? Organic acid? Because from my chemistry classes I never heard of an acid that could destroy everything within 10 miles!!"

@libdunkmedia poked fun at Trump tweeting, "He gets his classified briefings from 4chan now."

@KevinlyFather opined, "I wonder if he even knows it's software."

The same sentiment was felt by @newtnewtriot, who posted, "BleachBit is a free open-use software that literally anyone can use. The idea that its something nefarious is laughable."

"Maybe Trump dropped acid," @RoxaneLGibson floated. "This guy is really going fast."

Trump campaign blames faulty 'algorithms' for placing ads on Nazi videos

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign blamed the "algorithm" of video platform Rumble for running fundraising ads that monetizes pro-Nazi content, according to a new report.

The former president's campaign Wednesday argued Rumble was to blame for placing their ads before a video broadcast by failed rapper and conspiracy theorist Stew Peters, during which he touted Nazi dictator Adolph Hitler as a "hero," Rolling Stone reports.

“We aren’t picking any particular video or channel to run ads on, and we are not given visibility into every single ad that is served during every video," a spokesperson told Rolling Stone. "Rumble is ultimately responsible for the ads that are served on any given video on their platform.”

Rumble did not respond to Rolling Stone's request for more information about whether it has safeguards to prevent presidential campaign ads from appearing on Nazi content, but the magazine notes the platform offers ads both algorithm-placed and traditional "non-programmatic" advertising.

The Trump campaign told Rolling Stone they relied on algorithmic placement but did not answer questions about any concerns they might have about Rumble or the pro-Nazi content it platforms.

The social media site presents itself as an anti-cancel culture alternative to YouTube and provides a platform for controversial figures such as Andrew Tate, a self-described misogynist influencer who faces rape and human trafficking charges in Romania, and Russell Brand, the comedian and actor accused by multiple women of rape and sexual assault.

Trump's ad takes viewers to a web page for the Trump Save America fundraising committee through which cash is funneled to Trump's presidential campaign and the leadership PAC helping to pay his legal bills, the Rolling Stone report notes.

A rep for Peters did not respond to Rolling Stone's questions about how much he earns on Rumble.

"Ironically, while Trump ads run against his show," writes reporter Tim Dickinson, "Peters does not take a kind view of the former president, whom he claims 'bows to his Zionist masters.'"

Donald Trump on Saturday ranted about Cleveland’s Major League Baseball team changing their name to the Guardians, blaming “woke left lunatics” and Republican state senator Matt Dolan for the switch and “polling” his rally crowd on who wants to “keep it” as the Indians.

At a MAGA rally in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday, Trump boosted his endorsed candidate to run for senate against Democrat Sen. Sherrod Brown, businessman and Colombian immigrant Bernie Moreno.

Trump trashed Moreno primary opponent Dolan, a former prosecutor and assistant state attorney general, as well as part owner of the Guardians, as a “RINO” who is “trying to become the next Mitt Romney.”


Trump zeroed in on the team’s name change from Indians to Guardians as proof the Republican is “easily pushed around by the woke left lunatics.”

“So you have a team called the Cleveland Indians. Indians. They’re Indians. Indians,” said Trump. “And they took the name Cleveland Indians and made it the Cleveland Guardians.”

He then made the relatable joke that Guardians sounds like “they’re in charge of a trust fund” which is apparently what people who oversee a trust fund are called. “They’re in charge of a trust fund, the Cleveland Guardians.”


“My attitude is, anybody that changes the name of the Cleveland Indians to the Cleveland Guardians should not be a senator, should not be a governor,” Trump said to applause.

He then solicited the crowd’s input on whether to “keep” the name Cleveland Indians instead — a name that was changed in 2021 after the team announced their intent to do so in 2020.

“Okay, we’ll have a poll. Who wants to keep the Cleveland Indians story? Wait…” he said as the crowd got loud. “So much for that poll.”

After a few seconds, he went again. “Okay, ready? Who wants to see the name change to the, and the way they did it, to the Guardians? Who wants the Guardians?” he said as the crowd booed and jeered.


“Okay, nice and loud, now: Who wants to keep it the Cleveland Indians?” he asked, and the crowd went wild with approval.

“That wasn’t too tough, right?” said Trump.

Matt Dolan once ran for office as a Democrat, and he’s easily pushed around by the Woke Left lunatics who renamed his family’s baseball team. Now think of this.

You know, I happen to like baseball. I like sports. And I like tradition. So you have a team called the Cleveland Indians. Indians. They’re Indians. Indians. And they took the name Cleveland Indians and made it the Cleveland Guardians. It almost like they’re in charge of a trust fund. They’re in charge of a trust fund, the Cleveland Guardians. Its always hilarious when Trump tries to sue some media outlet because he always loses. But I think this one will be thrown out sooner than most as in immediately. Its is not simply Stephanopoulos referring to Trump as a rapist. Trump has been ruled a rapist in a court of law which is the ultimate protection for Stephanopoulos and ABC news.

Trump sues ABC News after George Stephanopoulos calls him rapist

Donald Trump is suing ABC News for defamation over a George Stephanopoulos interview in which the presenter said the former president was found liable for rape.

The lawsuit states the anchor of "This Week With George Stephanopoulos" “falsely stated on several occasions that Plaintiff had been found liable by multiple juries for the rape of Ms. E. Jean Carroll,” reported Reuters.

Carroll, a New York writer, had accused Trump of raping her decades ago, but a jury in a civil trial in May last year found him liable of sexual abuse and hit him with $5 million in damages for the abuse, and for defaming her by calling her a liar when she complained.

However the judge, Lewis A. Kaplan, later wrote, “The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape.’”

Trump was also hit with $83.3 million in damages in a second defamation trial involving separate defamatory comments denying Carroll's claims.

Stephanopoulos’ comments were made during an interview with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) on March 10. Mace has spoken about being raped as a teenager, and the anchor asked her how she could endorse a candidate who had been found liable for the same crime.

Mace reacted with fury, accusing him of “rape-shaming” her and demanding that Trump sue the anchor for defamation.

"But when I got there, the first thing he does is confront me about my own rape that happened at the age of 16, 30 years ago," Mace told right-wing podcaster Charlie Kirk after the interview. "And we coined it rape-shaming, right? He rape-shamed me this Sunday on This Week."

She went on, "Donald Trump has not been convicted of rape, not in a criminal court, not in a civil case," she said. "And so that's not what that judgment was about either."

"And I think that he opened himself and ABC News and ABC This Week up to huge liabilities," Mace added. "And if I were Donald Trump, I'd be suing him."

Trump’s lawsuit was filed in Florida on Monday.

ABC News told Reuters it had no comment to make on the filing.

Former President Donald Trump's new lawsuit against ABC News is not going to go anywhere — but it doesn't have to, argued Adam Rawnsley and Asawin Suebsaeng for Rolling Stone.

That's because his real goal is to bully and intimidate journalists against talking about his history of sexual assault, the report suggests.

The lawsuit targets reporter George Stephanopoulos, for stating in a recent interview with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) that Trump was “found liable for rape and defaming” writer E. Jean Carroll. The jury actually found him liable for sexual abuse — a distinction that Judge Lewis Kaplan emphasized wasn't meaningful in any real way, but which Trump is using as a basis to claim that Stephanopoulos defamed him.

"Behind closed doors, the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee has told confidants and lawyers that a primary purpose of the suit is to make an example of Stephanopoulos, two people with direct knowledge of the matter tell Rolling Stone," said the report. "In recent days, Trump has privately said that 'everyone' in the media should think twice about calling him a 'rapist' on TV and in print, and that 'tak[ing] them to court' — win or lose — is a good way to remind them of that, one of the people says."

"Trump, the sources recount, grew absolutely livid when he saw the Stephanopoulos interview, and began calling up advisers and demanding a suit from his vast gallery of personal attorneys," the report continued. "Some had advised the ex-president that a lawsuit could risk drawing more attention — including from voters in a crucial election year — to Carroll’s sexual-assault allegations, or possibly invite expensive sanctions from a court, the sources add. Trump, in conversations with close associates and MAGA-aligned lawyers, emphatically did not seem to care."

Trump separately plans to appeal the $83.3 million judgment he owes to Carroll, as well as the $464 million judgment for civil fraud secured by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
