There are idiots and assholes in every political persuasion, I'm sorry you had toe experience that. BTW most of us "hippies" were, and I still am, pacifists. I don't know who attacked you, but I'd like it if you could be more specific about it. I know there were some pretty militant groups at the time, but the majority of us were not.
