I am willing to bet that one of two things happened:

1. He thought a/b all of the things he claimed he would and could do to you. Then, once it hit him that you and he would actually hook-up, he realized that he had to back up all of those things he said to you in cyberspace. He probably figured he couldn't measure up and wimped out. Basically, you called his bluff and pulled his "bitch card".

2. He can not get away from his wife or girlfriend long enough to meet you. He is ignoring you because he now knows he has to "put up or shut up." He had decided to shut up because he knows he cannot deliver. It has nothing to do with you.
