no, but i'm on bed rest, and until i'm mobile again, which is 5 months from now, this is about all i can do. i'm at my parents for the summer, and this week supermurk is staying with me, but besides that, i can't go anywhere because i had surgery. i honestly do not come here to argue with chris, nor do i come at him. you have no idea what it's like to post here, and have him and TCl follow you around, making snide remarks at you. it's really annoying, i've never met TCl, and he ID on my ignore list. it will NEVER stop with chris, until he comes to terms with the fact that more times than not, he goes after matt, calling "bullshit!!" then calling him ignorant, and mocking his post. matt didn't even do it back to him. you can search this thread. supermurk never came at chris, at all. it's the same story every time. it's annoying to me. and it gets on my nerves. no one should be afraid to post on a site because the other person is too sensitive, especially if no one even said anything wrong. as you can see, clearly what baller considers "bullshit". his STANDARDS ARE TOO HIGH, AND IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE REST OF THE FORUM. <--- i really wanted that to stand out.

Haven't, no. For Us, The Living was published posthumously and is one of his earliest works. In it, the main character is, in a way that's never really explained, transported from the 30's to a future time and has to learn to deal with his jealousy and possessiveness.

I have made TWO very good topics, that would've been filled with pages of good info, perspective, intelligent discussion, etc, that are completely ruined because of people starting shit! And no, I'm not blaming those two for either one, because they did not start the derailing. But if they wouldn't fuckin piggyback my posts, there wouldn't be a single bit of arguing. You can check my posts, I don't talk about them, or to them, until they quote me and say something, whether it's starting shit, or disagreeing in a less than polite manner. why even quote me just to disagree with me at all? it's always completely unnecessary, because it never has anything to do with the original topic, or with the person involved. It's always getting involved in an argument or discussion, that I am having with ONE person, that isn't completely about the topic.

 

How about you ignore him? then you won't have to "worry" about posting in case you upset him.

The idea of caring how another person might react, on an internet forum, is laughable. So if he reacts badly, ignore him. You've said what you want. I fail to see WHY you continue to respond to him.

nope, but when you quote me just to less than politely disagree, when it's completely unnecessary, and between me and somebody that doesn't involved you, nor is it about the original topic, you're to blame for whatever argument ensues, because you did it unnecessarily.

omg. see, it's posts like this that keep me on the defense. orion, you just admitted to not even reading things. i am not a shit starter, none of you even know me, if you want my number, i'd gladly give it to you orion. i've even talked to perv before. =p most people that actually KNOW me, know what i actually sound like when i talk. which is why, whenever chris and i fought, i'd call him, and it would be over when he could actually HEAR me, and remembered how i actually sounded. it makes a big difference. i will not be portrayed as the person chris is portraying me as, i have more respect for myself than that.

 

that's my point. if somebody says whatever they want to you, however they want, you have every right to react to it in whichever way you see fit, and they can't bitch about it, cus it was unnecessary in the first place.

first thing that happened in this thread, is what always happens, with anybody I disagree with, or who piggybacks my posts *cough* x orion *cough* and you can attest to this, is that I come right back at you, but before getting personal, I question a) why was this necessary, b) you have a motive for disgreeing don't you, and c) I challenge your viewpoint, just like you did mine. that is how a discussion works.

 

I'm not saying I'm not to blame. I'm just saying, that I will not shoulder all of the responsibility for the argument, especially when another thread of mine got derailed, which would've been a good thread.

Stop taking everything I say when I'm trying to mediate things as me implying that it's all your fault. It's not about that.

If you'd read, I said he should ignore whatever he "perceived" you said, which means that he should ignore anything he feels is insulting, whether or not you intended it to come across that like.

Furthermore, people should NOT stop quoting Baller just because you've got him on your ignore list. Learn to read past him.
