  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

A 2$ .50BMG fired at the hood of any car would destroy it completely. Just a thought; little something to reflect on.

So what are you saying? because shooting some sort of large weapon into the engine of a car (I assume that's what a 2$ .50BMG is) will wreck it.......what?

If that's supposed to invalidate a discussion on cars then we'd better get rid of the picture threads too coz I'm thinking that shooting bullets into any of the models onthere would pretty much ruin them too!

    What are you on about?

I had a bad luck streak with Honda so I decided to start buying more domestic. It was a great choice on my part, I bought an 1999 Ford Explorer and a 2002 Cadillac Escalade, both of which now have 200,000 miles and counting. Neither vehicle has had anything too major replaced (Escalade had a new water pump) and truthfully, look brand new. Im trying to figure out why the domestic cars have such a bad rap

The Best car-makers in the world now are the Germans for everything, well they're slightly more expensive than there japanese competition, but worth it.

my personal favourite German car is the Audi, really well built cars, fantastic engines, safety records, fuel consumption, design.

but Mercedes, BMW, Porsche and Volkswagen all get an honourable mention

    My favourite car Audi RS4

    The Toyota pickup!

a fairly nice looking pickup truck. Compact Toyota pickups gained a restyling for 1989, with shift-on-the-fly part-time 4-wheel drive and rear antilock brakes. The new ABS system was standard on SR5 V6 models, optional on SR5 4-cylinder pickups. Standard powerplants in 1990 included both a fuel-injected and carbureted 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, plus an available 150-horsepower 3.0-liter V6. The two 4-cylinder engines provided 102 horsepower and 116 horsepower, respectively. Standard on SR5 V6 models and optional on Xtracab Deluxe pickups was the 3.0-liter V6. The carbureted engine offered a 4-speed manual gearbox, while the other two came standard with a 5-speed manual, with an available 4-speed overdrive automatic.

and you can make it look like this
    [IMG]

and it'll still work, if you don't believe me look for the top gear episode where they practically destroy this Toyota pickup and it still works after all the punishment

My dad at one point was pursuaded in to buying me an old shelby '67 (yup, an eleanor)
my uncle & I did that up and ordered a custom V8 block for it. Had it rolling roaded, close to 1000 horsies. *Never* driven it on the road, just once on a track, and it scared the shit out of me.

my current car is a corolla, much more practical, standard in every way, well, except the massive dent in the front wing @$%&*!? BMW drivers

    Mazda

If you dont mind the slightly homosexual label to it, the Mazda Miata is one hell of a car, a small fourbanger, decent to good gass mileage, its light, takes turns and handles AMAZINGLY, its a convertable to boot, and most models, including the new convertable hardtops, are 20g's and lower. Sure its not very passenger effective.. but that car with mazdaspeeds turbo gives you a quick, manueverable, and efficiant piece of work IMO.

In the days of the first TransAm series sanctioned by SCCA, at first the mustang, camero, and Javilin, I drove the Camero. loved it, but was really a ford person.. Of course theTrans Am series was limited to 302-305 engine.. Did the 24 hours on daytona in the camero..

But the most fun was being picked to drive for Toyota when they first came to the USA with the Celica. It was fun, and ran as pretty much stock for a while.. They gave me the car at the end of the first year, and we began building another

That first Celica went 180,000 miles before I had to put a new timing chain on it..The gas imbargo took Toyota out of the racing for a few years,, and by that time I was racing motorcycles..

If I was going to buy a car, I would start looking for Corrola of the 70-80's vintage..
