    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    Jack------here is a question for you: I just got around to watching Smallville, Season 6-----where Green Arrow is introduced. I always liked Green Arrow, but my experience is in the 70s---Neil Adams, Green Lantern (who is also a fav of mine) and Green Arrow. The first few episodes of Smallville, Green Arrow is much of a jerk.

    Did they do this to him in the comics sometime in the last 20 years???

    Oh yeah. He's like jerkish I suppose. It's really more that he's Batman in a green arrow costume. Both rich, both powerless, both peaking physically, both have butlers with somewhat odd names, etc. Green Arrow has all the extreme liberal views and what not and just has a real stick-it-to-the-man manner to him. Like Bruce/Batman, he's just not a people person for the most part. I don't really know how to explain. I do like Green Arrow a lot though.

    Sticking to Green Arrow-----I remember his sidekick, Speedy, too. When I was really getting into things heavier, I looked for and bought a lot of back issues of DETECTIVE COMICS----as far back as the late 50s. Green Arrow was a semi-regular feature in those older ones and I always thought Speedy was a decent character. Much more 'normal' than Robin. As much as I liked Batman, the kid in the 'tidy-greenie' undies annoyed me...

    The uniforms varied with each Robin (There's been four, one is non-canon). Speedy is now Red Arrow (I believe, but don't take my word on that because I'm not 100% sure). During the 80s or 90s, Speedy had a story arch in Green Arrow/Green Lantern where he was addicted to drugs too.
