I know about the rule too.
I can't understand why since it is a two party conversation, why can't the one party be sufficient to "ok" the posting of the pm of another.
This can be compared to law, with regard to a telephone conversation, I believe.
Maybe its to `protect the guilty'.

Why should a mod delete all your threads? That sounds like a lot of work for somebody to deal with because of your "posting remorse".

I can clearly understand deleting whatever post has your personal info, such as a phone number but that should be it. Only once did I request a pic be taken down because there was identifying info in the pic that I didn't notice until after I posted it (and I've posted thousands of pics).

It's the internet, we can click on these crappy threads or just move along, it's all about personal choice, most importantly when we sit down at our computer we can just "not come back", no drama, no endless good-byes, just dis-appear.
