I'm a PC game nerd. I'm in a clan which hosts a bunch of different games. I downloaded Combat Arms to my laptop. The game wouldn't load and it seemed that my graphics card just doesn't cut it. A clan mate recommended a program called Driver Detective to scan my comp and recommend better/updated drivers. I downloaded the trial version which does basically nothing.

Being the thief that I am I found a torrent for Driver Detective. Problem was the file contained a nasty little virus (YUL.exe something or other). It basically took a nice shit all over my OS and I was forced to reformat. Then I had trouble finding the right drivers. It's been a frustrating couple of days with the laptop.

But all issues have been resolved. It's all good.

 

I have trouble reading the posts from people who alter the color to light pink or white ... I'm sure the contrast is great on the blue screen, but I use the white so ... invisible (or nearly so).

 

I use the white as well. One trick I use to read unreadable text is to 'highlight' the text with your cursor. Just hold down the left click on your mouse and drag it across the text . . . voila, the shit is revealed.
