  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Ronald Reagan

When Jimmy Carter was president, an average of 2,600,000 jobs were created every year. When Ronald Reagan was president, that declined to 2,000,000 jobs.
    http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2009/01/09/bush-on-jobs-the-worst-track-record-on-record/

The highest unemployment ever got under Jimmy Carter was 7.8% in July 1980. Under Ronald Reagan the highest unemployment rate was 10.8% in November and December in 1982.
    http://www.p360.org/dsg.aspx?Data_Set_Group_Id=44&count=all

Jimmy Carter paid down the national debt. Under Ronald Reagan, the national debt tripled because of his ruinous and irresponsible tax increases.
    http://zfacts.com/p/318.html

Ronald Reagan was a lazy, stupid ignorant fool, and an international embarrassment. He often had trouble remembering which country he was in on state visits. Once at a dinner for heads of state, he stood up, and gave a speech someone had written for him. An hour later, he stood up again, and gave the same speech. He had trouble recognizing some of the members of his cabinet. Once he mistook Gen. Colin Powell for a White House janitor.:oops::oops:

Jimmy Carter was authentic. Ronald Reagan played a cheap Hollywood imitation of a hard working, deeply religious family man. He was none of that. Jimmy Carter was. He was also vilified by the right.

There is nothing authentic about Sarah Palin. She talks a lot about family values, but her two oldest children were hell raisers in high school. She wants to govern the country, but she could not govern her family.

This is really an interesting theme.

Scenario: Person says something that you disagree with about a Republican "celebrity".

Reaction: You trot out the exact same rhetoric about how bad Reagan, Bush I and Bush II were. You then trot out the same wornout praise for arguably the worse President in the 20th century.

To top it off, you then post irrelevant trivia about the subject in attempt to make them seem less palatable.

Name a Republican, you do exactly the same each time.

Please post some of those polls.

Yes, I do think there are a lot of fools in the United States who would vote for her, perhaps a majority.

Sarah Palin says she believe a war with Russia is possible to "protect" Georgia.

    Follow scenario:
McCain becomes the next president. Palin Vice-President. McCain died by a heart attack and Palin becomes the "leader of the free world".

Could she provocate or beginn a war with Russia?

Poll: Most Don't Want Sarah Palin to Run for President

Here is some good news. :excited:

    ------

    January 18, 2010 6:30 PM

A new CBS News poll finds that a large majority of Americans say they do not want former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to run for president.

Specifically, 71 percent say they do not want the former Republican vice presidential nominee to run for president, while 21 percent say they do want her to run...

The poll also finds that more people view Palin negatively than positively and that her book tour did not improve overall views of her...

  13. Been there, done that.

Palin is authentic in the sense that she laid her cards on the table with neither veils nor pretensions and naively (yes, naively) set herself up for ridicule and the opprobrium of cheap hucksters who lie as they breathe and are too cute by half. That is precisely what I find endearing about her. Does her extreme evengelicalism give me jitters? Sure. But at least I know where I stand. If I had my druthers, I would take her patriotism, and deal with the rest, over the vacuousness that prevails today.

When I say Palin is authentic, I mean that I know where she stands. Neither she nor her family are perfect. No one is. (Well, apart from several people on this forum, apparently.)

Is Palin particularly bright? No. Then again, someone please challenge my contention that Biden is a village idiot.

Is Obama an evangelical? Hell, no, of course not. My point is that he is too abstruse to have beliefs, period. He threw his own relatives under the bus in the campaign, and repudiated a twenty-plus year association with Reverend Wright (whom I found delightful, by the way, for entertainment value) the moment it suited him.

As for political beliefs, some people contend Obama is a strange amalgam of communist and fascist. Screw that. I don't give him that much credit. Insinuations of that kind would presuppose the capacity for rational thought. Again, bearing in mind that I don't watch TV (which is a shame, because Barry is supposed to be hawt), I only have transcripts and radio addresses to go on. When he stays in the script, he seems reasonably confident, but in extemporaneous mode he sounds like a petulant child. V. Lenin, for all his faults, was a brilliant man. A. Hitler couldn't hold a candle to Lenin, but he was well read, reasonably articulate, and fully capable of reasoned goal attainment (for all his goals devolved into madness). Obama as Lenin? Or even Hitler? LOL!!!!

Is Palin unqualified? As compared to whom? A Chicago machine politician who rose to prominence for having read someone else's speech off a teleprompter; squirreled his way into the senate, abstained on nearly two hundred votes in two years; and hired the right people to spin him on the web for twenty-somethings who wanted to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan and believe to this day that Cheney took down the towers? And by the way, how's that disengagement from Iraq working out for you, you bunch of gutless little ostriches? Coffins are coming back to Dover DE in C5's on a daily basis, more than ever under the Bush regime, but the mainstream press doesn't televise them, because they're all in the tank. Sheesh. Poor Cindy Sheehan's freezing her patouty off on Pennsylvania Avenue, shivering in the climate change with her silly little antiwar signs, to this very day, and even she can't get any press anymore, because God forbid anyone on this good green earth should defame The Haloed One.

Am I a warmonger? I prefer to think of myself as one who acknowledges that war has found us. I think that dealing with it is best. Of course, some would believe we made the war, by knocking down the towers, to raise the Halliburton stock price, so Cheney could do more duck hunting, so he could buy more stuff for his black-sheep lesbian daughter, because he's not perfect, and shame on him, etc. etc., and sheesh, it all just makes my head go whirly-whirly and I just can't find a reasonable retort, so f--- it, I give in, let's all just bare our necks and wait to die, because we deserve it. Semper Fi!

    (breathe)

Katie. As in Katie Couric. Really. I know she tries. And she has the cutest little boobies.

What a curious and remarkable post, AP...so replete with multi-syllabic words and apparent erudition, so ripe with arguments that could almost masquerade as rational...and yet, so full of what Jean-Paul Sartre is so fond of referring to as "nothingness".

  16. Precisely. In my contemplations of Our Messiah, nothingness is all I can come up with.

Back to topic. Bottom line, I'd rather cede the presidency to Palin than Biden anyday. Biden reminds me of stuff I've seen crawling out from under my refrigerator. Icky.
