Regardless of the shooter's reason and motivation, it's still wrong for politicians and entertainers to invoke hatred and mistrust of publicly elected officials when it's uncalled for. Sarah Palin is one of several people that does this. It's not wrong to disagree, but to lose respect for them and twist everything they say around is wrong.

 

That street runs two ways.

Respect is earned, but you can only earn that respect by sticking to your guns (pun intended), while respecting the opposite view. Or by cordially admitting your error and moving on.

IMO Sarah Palin will NOT run in 2012. She's not doing things the way that an I-want-to-run-for-President person would do.

Who will run? I don't know. Most likely it's someone we haven't heard of. (Neither Clinton or Obama were exactly household names this far out from the time that they ran in their respective elections.)

However, if she does run in 2012 and then beats all of the other candidates in the Republican primaries I'll vote for her.

I'll take a hot MILF conservative over a black liberation theology advocate and socialist any day....

It looks to me like anyone who wasn't brainwashed would get sick of the poor poor Sarah routine by now. I know its really begun to disgust me. Especially after she tried to turn herself into the real victim of the Tucson shootings.

My theory is that without using incendiary rhetoric Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and most of the Fox News Channel are going be at a severe disadvantage when it comes to non-emotional political discourse.

Yes Virgina ............... I mean Kimiko there is a Rush a clause in some people's minds, because they don't listen to what he really says from day to day. If they did they'd know how often he contradicts himself and that everything sounds the same. And for all his complaining he has no solutions. Just complaints.

But that's not what they tune in for. Doesn't anyone else get the irony of Rush's name besides me? They turn for their daily rush. They tune in for that emotional rush Rush gives them by touching the hate and discontent buttons in them and giving them what they want more than anything else; someone to blame because they are not happy.

That's what good ol' Rush gives them. Which of course makes them Ditto head addicts but that's their problem. Somewhere, sometime they must take personal responsibility for themselves, and their own unhappiness.

And maybe learn how to fuck. I bet that would be a big help with those politically frustrated non-fuckers. And then they might not be so hateful and grouchy all the time.
