McCain is not running against a "baby-killer" (which I assume is inflammatory rhetoric for one who supports the legal right to abortion), because Obama has never killed any babies.

McCain is not running against a "muslim" (which I assume is short-hand for someone who has relatives that practice the Islamic faith), because Obama is a Christian.

McCain is not running against a "voter fraud" supporter (which I assume is a reference to the Acorn group), because Obama never 'supported' Acorn, he worked for them as an attorney and billed them for his time. I suppose the guy who mows the lawn at Acron headquarters is a 'voter fraud' supporter as well

McCain is not running against "one who socializes with terrorists" (which I assume is more hamfisted nonsense about Mr. Ayers), because Obama served on a committee with the man - and that can hardly be called "socializing".

McCain is not running against someone who believes "God Damn America", because Reverend Wright isn't running for any office that I know of.

Each and every one of these is an idiotic red herring! They are so easy to expose as examples of illogical thought and dogmatic desperation that they no longer serve as effective argument for your position, but rather as a target of derision for anyone that values free thought.

The poll found 52 percent of voters favor Obama compared with 42 percent for McCain, up from a 6-point Obama edge two weeks ago, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The 10-point lead is the largest in the Journal/NBC poll to date and represents a steady climb for Obama since early September, when the political conventions concluded with the candidates in a statistical tie, the newspaper reported.

The poll also found that the popularity of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has fallen. Voters are less likely to see the Republican vice presidential nominee in a positive light, and much more likely to report negative feelings, the Wall Street Journal said.
Forty-seven percent view Palin negatively, compared with 38 percent who see her in a positive light.
