Don't misunderstand me. I am not making any case for those two either. I am a Conservative with big C. It is just that the quality of the arguments used by the Republican supporters on is pathetic. That quality is inspired by the piss weak leadership of McCain that has been unable to create a coherent campaign and relied on the kind of nonsense you guys are spouting. This has gifted the election to Obama.

Speaking as one who is happy it is happening, I have to say you are right. There actually WERE legitimate reasons for a person to vote for McCain. Those are almost NEVER stated anymore. One of the arguments in McCain's favor--heck, the BIGGEST argument in his favor--was experience. He tossed that one in the water, however, when he chose Palin as his running mate. It was a great short-term strategy to get people who were already going to vote for him to get excited. However, it was a poor long-term strategy for getting uncommitted voters to come his way.

More experience only matters if it results in better judgment. If the strategies used by the candidates is any gauge, McCain's experience doesn't mean much.

You mean Fannie May and Freddie Mack contributed to Obama's campaign. Didn't the contribute to many many Senator's and Representatives campaigns.

But then again John McCain's campaign manager was on Freddie Mac's PAYROLL until a month ago. So who's really being influenced by these corporations? And lets compare Obama's contributions from Corporations compared to John McCain's during this election especially McCain's contributions from the oil companies.

ok so i've been farming since i was ten and in the last 8 years taxes for farming supplys have gone up 22% and will continue to rise w/mCcain,which means every year i have to take a pay cut just to feed all of you,(US citizens)and i've lose around 5,000 a year.dont seem like much but it adds up.and obama says he's gonna lower my taxes.
