  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

What a bunch of garbage, yes i am concerned about the destruction of the family structure, morally, as in marriage and parenting. Do you understand the difference? Those people lining up for food and shelter as you put it? i have seen no proof of this other than drunks. You people need to quit complaining and do for yourself, quit relying on the government for all of your needs, go out and take care of them for you. That is the difference between capitalism ( people who work hard for themselves) and socialism (no one works waiting for the government to give them something) You don't like Hugo Chavez? He falls in line right with Obama politically. So sad Stumbler that you have such a limited view of the world. :)

The price of freedom is efficiency. (Think about that for a while)

I thought about it. I think you're wrong.

Generally, the price of freedom is sacrifice, and usually blood. Efficiency and incarceration can be part of the same system too, you know. You'd have been hard pushed to find an 18th or early 19th century plantation owner who thought that freeing his slaves would improve efficiency.

You really are such a brainless, reactionary twit Deidre you obviously don't even realize how stupid you are. But to convey that to everyone else I will point out the obvious. You don't see any proof of this because you're to fucked in the head to look.

Nobody asked you to support anyone. But should you exploit THEM to satisfy your desire for material gain simply because you have the power to do so?

Should I exploit who? Do you understand how free enterprise works or capitalism for that matter? I am starting to wonder. I have no grand illusions of a playtime world of which you speak of. This notion that we all should be alike and we should all be taken care of is fantasy, please wake up. Have you ever read rumpelstiltskin? If you do, it is fiction by the way :)

    Deidre,

I agree with you about the importance of a good family structure.

You work in the housing industry. It is imploding. If you lose your job, and cannot find anything that pays nearly as much, you may come to understand that factors in addition to hard work influence success and failure.

Oh yes, I understand how capitalism works. It produced sweatshops, 80-hour work weeks, child labor...

And did you hear me say we should all be alike? It sounds to me like the only book YOU ever read was "Atlas Shrugged", which, by the way, is also fiction.

Those of us who criticize the American free enterprise system are often accused of advocating what existed in the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin, what exited in Communist China under Mao Tse Tung, and so on.

The third alternative is Western European Social Democracy. In Western Europe levels of education and health are higher than in the United States. Rates of crime and poverty are lower.

Technical innovation and economic growth have also been less. Nevertheless, during the past thirty years technical innovation in the United States has destroyed jobs. Economic growth has primarily gone to capital rather than labor.

John, I understand where you are coming from and I can sympathize with your situation which many Americans are going through unfortunately. This is all the Republicans fault? Hardly. I am not rich nor has my family ever been. Yes i could lose my job tomorrow, am i worried? not really but if i do, what are my choices? I can sit around and complain about the government waiting for something to happen or i can go out and try to better myself however that may be. If that means taking a pay cut and a job I don't like, oh well at least i am trying. Americans have grown lazy and rather apathetic. It is no wonder that so many embrace socialism. Don't be such a stranger, ok.

if the usa sucks so bad why do a lot of people what to be here, and if people here are poor if 95% of the time from their own bad decisions. Do you see that the usa is one of the few places that have fat poor people. i know the usa has one of the highest standards of liveings. hell we kill people and trample people at walmart for tvs. i do not want the gov to do anything for me, everything that envoles them is a bunch of problems, name one thing th gov can do good, even social health care, i want no part of it. we already have it (va) and it sucks, long wait and gov bullshit that doesn't have the pacients health in its best intrest. the housing crises was caused by clinton making the bank lower their standards for lending so we could live the american deam.(does anyone remeber him say that) not to worry obama will fix everything just like carter. obama will be the best thing for the rebublicans to get there shit togeather again. if lib is so good why is calafornia is such bad finical problem they are suppose to lead the country in libiralism they are not doing so good.

Not that I am a huge capitalism fan, but I have really wanted to read that book. I hear it is quite phenomenal but have been put off by its apparently great lengthiness and having other immediate concerns.

.........I have been going the idiot's route and just hoping they would hurry up and take the movie out of limbo.
