  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

just started a thread bout music a may aswell do one about movies..
    1) the movie can be of any genre
2)every one is entitled to there opinion no matter how stupid haha

personally i believe that star wars is the best movie.. wait dont sharpen the pitch forks yet!
people are prob thinking im having a laugh but no it really is.
i mean look at the imagination it took to create such a thing the fan base it has and how many influences it has started.
Don't forget the light saber :p

now if that doesnt please you i also think a terrintino movie might have done it.
    maybe Pulp Fiction??

    what do you think??

Fight club w/Ed Norten and Brad Pitt. I admit you either hated or liked it. For me it had a lot of symbolism and metaphors. Deep shit. Also, Pulp Fiction is great as well

Star Wars? Are you kidding me? Imagination?

It's basically a fairy tale with lasers. It took study, and it was quite skillfully put together but it didn't take great imagination, and it's not the best film ever (And I'm a big fan!)

Like the music thread, mate, you need to give us some idea of what criteria you're using to judge. Otherwise it's just a pissing contest.

    Hmm... Greatest movie ever....

Well, since we have no criteria to base our decisions on, it's really a matter of opinion. Now, I can't choose a single greatest movie ever, but here are some of my favorites. These are in no particular order, BTW

    Citizen Kane
    "Rosebud..."
A neat fact about that movie is that there is a gigantic plothole right at the very beginning. When Orson Welles is on his deathbed, he drops a snowglobe and says "Rosebud.". The entire movie is about his friends figuring out who Rosebud is. They think it's one of his various female companions he's had over the years. The thing is... Welles was alone in his room when he died, and when a nurse came to check on him, she just covers his face with a sheet and goes about her business.
No one in the movie actually had heard Welles say, "Rosebud."
A person that was working on the movie set took Welles aside and told him about the plothole after the movie was finished and being shipped to theatres. Welles reportedly said, "Don't you ever tell anyone about this."

    Jurrasic Park
    "Are, are those... Carn-carniv... Meatasauruses?"

It's got dinosaurs monsters brought to life with science. Like a modern Frankenstein movie. Plus, those fucking velociraptors had those devilish smiles. Oh, and Laura Dern.... She may look like a banana, but I'd like to let her peel my banana. Also, Jeff Goldblum. That guy is awesome.

    The Fly (Jeff Goldblum!)
"Have you ever heard of... *twitch* Insect Politics?"

It's got Jeff Golblum, Gena Davis, some guy who's name I can't remember, and one fuck ugly animatronic fly monster. It's really the tragic tale of a love triangle gone horribly, horribly wrong. Get a clue people. Fly's and Humans shouldn't mix.

    The Fly 2
MEMORABLE QUOTE NO. 32 NOT FOUND

It's been awhile since I've seen this one. The only memorable person I remember right now is Daphne Zuniga (probably better known as Princess of the Druidians, Princess Vespa). It didn't get many stars, and I think it was considered a flop. But... I like it because it continues the story of what happened to BrundleFly's child. The child is born with a normal human appearance, but has a highly accelerated growth cycle (he loses his virginity at age five, but at that point he's already looking like a fully grown human). Around this time, things begin to change for the kid. He actually begins to pupate, just like a maggot does at full maturity. When he finally bursts out of his pupa, we see a magnificent, fully formed, perfect Flymonster. Even though his outward appearence is terrifying, flymonster retains it's human compassion, only attacking people that try to kill him, and remaining calm when attack dogs rush towards him. The dogs become afraid of flymonster, and he gently pets them on the head.
Using his fathers telepods, flymonster does figure a way out so he can become human again, and it is pure poetic justice at the very end. If you liked Jeff Goldblum in The Fly, you're probably going to like The Fly 2.

    The Matrix Series

    "I know Kung Fu."
"Through one door, you will find the ultimate salvation of humanity and the destruction of The Matrix. Through the other, you will save her, but you will be destroying Zion."
"Hmph, what do you think I am, human?"

It's basically an MMORPG gone horribly wrong. Lol.

    Star Wars, the original trilogy.

    "Luke, use the force."
"No Luke, I am your father."
"Razha newa wookie nipple pinchy, ho ho ho."
(that last one is courtesy of Peter Griffin)

This was my first space epic I ever saw. I love it. And then Lucas had to fuck it in the ass with no lube, and whore it out to the streets. Those prequels are blasphemy in my eyes. One question though, why do all the characters speak with British accents, when they are from outer space and there is no Britain?

    The Alien Series

Dang, the only quote I can remember is from the second movie.

"They mostly come out at night, mostly."

Sigourny Weaver. Those panties that are one size to small. Goddamn, is she hot. The first movie is introduces us to the bloodthirsty, truly horrifying aliens. Alien gives us a little taste sample of monsters with exoskeletons. The second movie gives us a buffet. The third movie gave us a new dish to sample, and the fourth movie... Was sort of like a ruined orgasm... 'Nuff said. Oh, and Jonesy the cat. Everyone knows those movies were actually about Jonesy the cat. If you don't love Jonesy the cat, you're an asshole.

I think that's all for now. I might post some more later.

I don't know about Best Film in the History of the World.... but Unforgiven was pretty tight. There is soooo much going on just underneath the dialogue of that movie. Its so well crafted. ANd I normally HATE westerns.

One of my favorite films is "The Trouble with Harry". It's one of the Alfred Hitchcock films. It has suspense, mystery, comedy and several small love stories going on at the same time. This is definitely an entertaining film.
