I think it's normal, but I'm in an open relationship and my lovers know that's the way it is. I don't stray often, but it does happen.

Here's my question: Why is only breaking #5 called cheating? If your partner ditches you, or dishonors you, or doesn't cherish you, doesn't love you, why isn't that cheating????

And I'm not just looking for "Well, yeah, that is a kind of cheating" or something. I'm asking that, since you and your partner made this legally binding contract, why is not breaching terms 1 through 4 considered a breach of contract in a court of law, just like #5?
