I will agree about the dumb shit comment but to be honest with you and everyone else, when have any of us not done something stupid just to fit in. I don't mean just as kids. We do it as adults, parents, children, siblings, coworkers, members in congregations, at parties, etc. Obviously I cannot speak to his reasonings for what he wrote but I know he did not molest his daughter.

In my opinion I believe that he posted what he posted because that is what the topic of the thread was about to begin with. I've posted in threads at times without giving it a second thought until a later time and yes sometimes I wish I could take back what I've written but who doesn't?

He did catch grief over those posts earlier last year and again now. It's almost like a double whammie to him from what I can see. To be honest, if I did not know LoLLy to the level that I do I would be skeptical too based on what is being posted.

I, myself do not trust anyone with my son. He is 16 now and I am still sketchie even over people I personally know. It would not be a matter of question if I would leave my child with LoLLy no more than would I leave my child with my sister or mother. And if my mother were alive she would be the last person I'd leave any of my kids with.

 

How do you know that? Because he said so? I read the entire thread, it was painfully convincing to me.

I've left my kids with plenty of people over the years, they were all very safe. Especially when I left my daughter alone with my husband.

I'm not going to go out of my way to try to prove to anyone on a web site one way or another. We all have our opinions and each of us are entitled to view things as we see fit. This is only the internet and we say things freely whether fact or fiction. And it is clear that strong opinions have already been formed which are not worth arguing over as there will be no end to it ~ a pointless conversation. And by the way how do you know your children were safe? We could all pose the same questions to you that are being pointed to LoLLy. How ever I will not as you can no more prove to me that no one has ever touched your kids in a sexual manner than I can prove that of LoLLy. There is no reason for me to question your parent strategies no more than it proper for me to question LoLLy's or any other member of this forum. Ultimately we are all for the most part strangers and are not likely to ever meet in real life.

 

I understand what was posted. However, I did not claim that I agreed with what he said but instead that he did not molest his daughter, it is your choice to believe or not to believe. In fact for the record, I despise ALL abuse of any kind to any person including children. This includes beatings to a pulp, raping, verbally belittling them, etc.

Now understand that I've spent more time with LoLLy outside of the forum probably more than anyone here. Yes, I did loose alot of my mental stability in the accident but I did not loose my common sense fortunately.

So be it I'm naive in your eyes, I have no problem with that. Nor was I looking for a response to the safety of your children, it was a food for thought comment that all parents should consider including myself. That said I NEVER leave my kids with anyone except under dire circumstances.
