I'm gonna buy a new 360 as soon as I get the cash for it!! It killed a disc just NOW! And I'm just waiting for it to get the RRoD...

Maybe you can check and see if there is any IT fairs coming up near your area you may be lucky and get a cheaper set at promotion price at one of those fairs.

 

do you already have one? are you trying to get another one just to avoid the RRoD?

 

Why not just send it to the manufacturer and have them fix the RRoD? It'd be cheaper than buying a whole new one.

microsoft put a 3 year warranty on all the xbox360s,made in the last 3 years i do believe.


so you might wanna check the date,and just send it in.

 

Try for a 'Gamestop' type place. The only way to get 360s 'new and cheap' is if theres a defect. of course you knew that. but at least you'll get a guarantee on it from a used game shop. Or pay full price. Or contact the manufacturer like was stated previous.

this is true your 360 has a 3 year warranty on it.

 

the extended 3 year warrenty only covers the RRoD. if i were you and you wanted to get a new 360 id definately get a Xbox 360 Arcade. it doesn't come with a hard drive but you should have one of those anyway, and it comes with a few arcade games and maybe even some disc games as well. id definately get one at your local best buy or gamestop though!!! never go somewhere like wal-mart. i use to work there and we just let our electronics sit for a while before putting them out on the floor. that means it could have bugs in it that could cause a RRoD. go somewhere where they sell alot of them and get it from there!

Actually RRoD is manufacturer error therefor it should ALWAYS be coverd, unless you've done something with the 360.

Also about the PS3, I was being sarcastic... As I was asking for a STORE, not a console!
