ok so ..my wife and i decided to have some fun with a couple about 7 months ago. My wife and i are clean..so was the couple (supposedly SHE had just had a checkup and nothing showed up) . so we had fun for about 6weeks and called an end to it.

4months later this showed up. started out small..then in about a month grew to this size. Its never been moist, painfull , broken open , leaked any fluid or gotten smaller. Try laying off sex and masturbation for a week. Use some kind of powder ( I suggest baby powder) to keep it dry. Wear boxers and not briefs for a week. If you work out or sweat alot make sure you keep dry and don't rub it at all. It will heal on its own. An STD you would typically have some kind of pain during urination, and herpes looks much worse than what u have. Just take it easy. And if I haven't eased your mind, spending the 140 might be the only thing that will.

Have you been on any medication lately? and recently withdrawn from it? an anti-biotic? If so, this could be causitive from withdrawl.

If not, I would suggest that you need to see a urologist on this one. An STD clinic could test for herpes but this likely is not that. I would pay the $140.00 and get it sorted out.
