Yes, but the books(10), weren't bad. I guess being a Scientologist Travolta wanted to honor L. Ron Hubbard. Movie failed to say the least.

Howard the duck - one of george lucus' first films- aweful about an anthropromorphic duck who gets 'transported' through no reason to the human world, and on his mission to get back, he has to fight off these crappy monsters.

 

I think I'm beginning to detect a pattern, here: you guys go and see movies that are absolutely GUARANTEED to be bad! I've never even HEARD of most of them!

Anyone ever see the movie "Supernova"?

It was terrible. A space flick with a plot I can't really remember. All I remember is that it was really, really bad. And the ending was even worse.

Films so bad they're good?

Does anyone agree with me that if a film gets so bad it can sometime get cult status and be watchable because it is so bad. Some examples for me would be the Japanese Godzilla movies and b-movies like Wild Women of Wonga. I
also enjoyed Sex World, (which is Polish), it is bad but watchable. Maybe because there are lots of naked women in there I enjoyed it.

The really bad movies are the ones that take them so seriously but end up being real stinkers.

 

I would put "Wild Things" in this category. I think it's almost a parody of itself, totally cheesy and sleazy. But somehow, despite all that, it works...and it's such a guilty pleasure!

 

Garden State

 

Any movie where Barbara Streisand pretends she's cute and witty, I.E. "What's up doc", and "A star is born" (prepares for that battle).
"The grudge 2" was such trash i couldn't even finish watching it, as with "The ring 2".
"Saw" 3-5 because the storyline just didn't end up making sense, saw 5 started from the ending of saw 3, and saw 4 was completely irrelevant.
"Turistas".... I'm sorry isn't this the exact same movie as Hostel, but taking place in south america with shitty quality, a lame story line, nodescript tourcher and a really really idiotic twist.
"Evil bong" was a stoner movie written by people who i'm sure have never smoked weed in there life.
"Next", was the most irrelivant movie i had ever seen, but blame it to nicholas cage, i mean isn't he the same person doing "National treasure"? you're a long way from "leaving las vegas" Nicky..........you're gonna end up right back there with barry mannilow.
"Walk hard: the dewey cox story" was mildy entertaining but really not all that great.
Harold and kumar 2" was funny, but it was identical to the first one, just with a different mission, so i kinda was dissappointed in it.

Am i the only person tired of ben stiller? yes a lot of his movies are funny, most of them in fact but many are very similiar, but his newest piece of trash is most deffinatly "tropic thunder". i am dissappointed in him, but especially in jack black, i expected more but the only part i laughed at during the entire movie was the first 2 minutes.

cannibal holocaust was like that, I loved it even though it's awful, and evil aliens, teeth, frankenhooker was also something of a laugh there are probably many more like this... these are some of my fav. film
