The reason im asking is until about 4 years ago we had a boat, hubby sold it, even though we have a lake place on table rock lake, we now rent a boat/ i want a boat any ideas/mrs d

Lots of bayliner work to be done... In most cases liners are shot...

If I could do it again, I'd at least split a new one rather than be the sole-owner.

The total cost of ownership is huge based on my use, but if it makes you happy - know whatta mean.... We(men) always want the toys the we dont have. I have too many toys - thats why I sold the waverunners. Then got bored, bought the boat...

Pro Line CC fisherman. All fiberglass and stainless. No carpet or wood. Nice boat...rarely get to use it. Few times a year. Plenty of used boats with low hours out there. Funny how it is Wifey trying to get Hubby to go for it. Keep working him girl. Sorry MrDartmaster, time to poney up. Nice thing about the boat, no tan lines.

We have a houseboat. Love it, have been boaters all of our lives.

Cannot imagine being without one.

 

My parents have two boats. I have a student loan.

 

And those boats are much much more fun than that student loan. Look at the bright side, once school is paid for your higher education will allow you the career/income to support your own hole in the water.

A fill up for me goes for about $300.00, how ever our usage results in about $1,000 / year for fuel. Not really bad since we spend several weeks a year on her.
