  3. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Technically yes. A wart is caused by the Human Papiloma Virus, of which there are several different strains. The various strains tend to make a wart in their prefered part of the body, I. E. Plantars warts like the bottom of the foot. However, the virus is capable of forming a wart on any part of the body. I suggest a visit to the doctors so they can find out what kind of wart you have and they can reccomend how to best treat it. Seriously, go to the doctors just to be safe. You don't want this to come back to haunt you.

    Very good advice

Genital warts are a very serious thing. Like SilverLycan says; SEE A Doctor!!! There are many ways to get warts; the Doctor will explain them to you.

I agree that they CAN BE a serious thing in a woman; but this post suggests a level of *fear* that I don't really think is warranted.

Go ahead and check with a doctor ... it could be an ingrown hair or any number of things. Good luck.

Warts found beneath the foreskin or near it can lead to penile cancer in, obviously, males. So, genital warts in general should not be taken lightly. I think I also read that anal warts can lead to painful bloody constipation.

As fora "bump" unfortunatley you'll need to be a little more descriptive a genital wart tends to have a cauliflower or brocolli look to it ingrown hairs/zits tend to have a smooth red look to them but of course as everyone before me has said talk to the doctor and double check

When I think something off downstairs, I usually go to a doctor rather than post on the interwebs.

    Very true.

I was a Paramedic as well as a firefighter and I once had a call where a lady had cervical and ovarian cancer from sex with a guy that didn't know he had a wart inside his foreskin and transmitted warts to her. Sadly she never went to the Doctor until it was in stage four. I rarely give medical advice but when I do it is usually form experience gained in over 40 years in the Fire/Rescue and EMS services. That is why I think this is a great place to learn because no-one can know everything. No offence was taken piggit. ;)

What does the bump look like? Is it white or maybe a pink color? Is it hard, or soft? Does it hurt when you touch it? Does it seem to be filled with pus? Is there redness around the bump?

Answer me these ALL of these questions so we can help you figure out what it is.

Or you could just be brave and go see the doctor.

Hm... I'm not exactly sure what it could be. Really it could be any number of things. Wart, pimple, ingrown hair... Pencil eraser size? That doesn't sound small to me. I think you should go see a doctor. Why haven't you made an appointment yet? These things don't go away if you ignore them, you know.
Wait, do you shave your genitals? How sexually active are you? Did you touch a wart on somebody and then inadvertently touched your pubic region?

    Thanks Piggit.

Popeyes, I don't think we can help you without actually seeing it. Go to a doctor. If you can't afford one then go to a free clinic. If it really scares you, go to the ER.

    That is all.

Yeah, I'd get it checked out by either your doctor or at a clinic if you can't go to the doctor. Like everyone has said it might just be an ingrown hair, which are annoying, but if it's a wart then you need to get it taken care of.

So make your mantra, "Better safe than sorry.", and get it looked at by a medical professional.
