Everyone knows a good many bikie gangs are just plain criminals. These are the ones who should be stopped. Who needs em? Same with street gangs..they should also be stopped. Bad enough they beat people but when these gangs have guns its worse. We have some gangs in AU and I recon all stops shuld be pulled to completly wipe them out. I pity what I see in USA on this one. In AU normal law abiding citizens dont own guns and in particular assult weapons that have the capacity to kill enmass. This will mean the chance of some gutless lunatic mowing down people as happens so often in USA is far less. I bet if these lunatics didnt have a gun and had to use a knife or their bare hands the death toll would be far less. Luckily after Martin Bryant murdered all those people in Tasmania years ago and the AU government banned guns from general public and it hasnt happened again....I used to be a gun owner myself [a shotgun] but handed it in after Martin Bryant/Port Arthur. I bet the gun lobby tongues are waggin.

If this was me, I wouldn't support it. That being, banning guns, of all, or any kind(with a few notable exceptions). It is insulting to me as a responsible citizen. As for bikers, I have known a few gang members, and only a small minority I would want to see locked up.

I guess it can also depend on our personal experience and where we live. I know that many come from outside the terrirory(or country!) to cause shit. I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. For some of us, we have been given "tacit approval" to defend ourselves "as we see fit", and I will do this.

I call the type that `doesn't give a fuck' about the welfare and quality of life, "remittance men" (or women). They who have burned their bridges from where they were spawned and now come to start new shit here. No way.

I recall a music festival in Western Australia many years that was organised by a bikie gang called the coffin cheaters. There were two rules to that festival: 1. No glass and 2. no fighting. This first festival brought together in excess of 10, 000 people of all cultures and walks of life and was the most peaceful and entertaining 3 days I can remember from that time and was a huge success.I witnessed one fight, if you can call it that. And that was when some drunken pratt tried to cause trouble and was "politely" requested to desist. But yes, there are crazy fucks in the bikie community, but look at the ex-president of one particulary large and once democratic country who has left over million people dead in his wake. Who should be looked up?

The "Bikie ' gangs in Oz at the moment have moved into a new way of doing things.
When you see who the gang leaders are you will hardly see a Anglo Saxon name among-st them They are nearly all from the South Sea Islands or the Middle East.
Christ they have gangs now where you don't even have to have a bloody bike.
They have been out of control and what broke the camels back was the beating to death of a Hells Angel at Sydney Airport by a group of Comancheroes. Bashed his head in with a steel pole in front of a whole crowd of people.
The crack down has shut them up at the moment. At least the drive - by shootings have stopped.
The amount of guns that they have seized has been phenomenal.
Banning illegal guns has been fantastic
We have not had one mass shooting since they banned semi autos after Port Aurthur but after 35 people died it wouldn't have wanted to get any worse.
It is still legal to buy firearms as long as you have a license and can store them
All this bullshit about taking away our rights is fucking stupid.
If you want a rifle and you are licensed , away you go. Just not the semi autos.

What you have posted here is a lot different than what many of us have seen in our cities in N America, most of us anyway.
We have the drug gangs that seem to be doing much of what you say here. I wouldn't want to bring a knife to a gunfight though. This is where they bring the violence to us, in specific scenarios.

Roo shooters...there must be a few dozen of them in AU and I have never heard of any mass murders from them...cockies....good people and YES they need guns for vermin control...foxes, cats etc...and roos if they are too numerous.
