Feel free to post your reasons for your vote. You might even make converts. I think the " incestual" breeding argument that it causes defects was generated by the church or political organizations, for what reason.

We do use incest to perfect the breeding and breed of various animals, and the offspring are better, not defective.

I think one possible real reason, is that if you have incest at an early age with a close family member, you will never look outside the family. But I could be wrong on this. My opinion from reading other posts, from people who freely admit it, and from some PM's.

 

For fucks sake, whenever incest comes up we get Cain & Abel Adam & Eve or Noah and his family as if they were real historical people. It scares me, it really does, that people do not understand what an allegory is, look it up folks.

Yes, but not because of the breeding. It's "culling" -- assuring that individuals with the undesired traits aren't allowed to reproduce -- which assures that the offspring are superior.

Strangely enough, this is going to be a theme in my "Revolutionary Magic" stories, where the slave mages have been subject to controlled breeding for many generations.
