My only real concern about homosexual marriage is that this is the kind of issue that has hurt the Democrats since the 1960s, and I do not want Democratic politicians climbing out on a limb for it.

What I feel about homosexuality is that it is a bizarre and loathsome perversion. What I believe about it is that it is a genetic predisposition that correlates with superior intelligence, and which is transmitted through generations the way sickle cell anemia is.

In addition, how could it be genetic? Since homosexual couples can't reproduce together, they could never have any traits that passed to any future offspring.

 

They cannot be "married". They can have all the "civil cerimonies" they want, but they will never be married.

If you have both you have sickle cell anemia. In parts of the world where malaria is endemic if you have one of the genes you have a longer life expectancy than those who have neither of the genes. Thus, the gene is passed down from generation to generation.

Homosexuals tend to be more intelligent than heterosexuals when race is held constant. It has not been proven yet. Nevertheless my theory is that the same gene or genes that are dominant for superior intelligence are recessive for homosexuality. Homosexuals are likely to have heterosexual siblings who are of above average intelligence, and who perpetuate the gene/s for homosexuality.

 

There is a theory to explain this. The female fertility hypothesis states that the maternal relatives of gay men have more offspring than that of heterosexual men. The maternal genes reduce male reproductive success but boosts female reproductive success. The result is that homosexuality is indirectly selected for.

I don't know how well this theory holds, however. Especially since it makes no mention of female homosexuality, and if a person is to account for homosexuality then they must account for the totality of it. Just thought it would be an interesting insight.

I'm assuming you're talking about heterozygous vs homozygous traits in regards to sickle cell?

Oh, and regarding the bolded part; statements are not factual in terms of scientific basis if they have not been proven. If you want to have theories regarding the subject, fine. However, don't make a statement that says homosexuals are smarter than heterosexuals (especially when race is held constant) if it hasn't been proven yet.

 

Well that's as about insulting as you can get. I'll take that as a personal insult seeing as I'm bisexual.

I'm not attracted to men because I choose to be, I don't want to have sex with other men out of choice, it's just the way I am, these are the feelings I've had since being a young teenager. I'm not moulded by some dark sexual secret in my past either.

For the record, in case you've never read many of his posts - and who can blame you - he also believes women should remain chaste and virginal until their wedding night...oh, and we shouldn't swear either!! From what I can gather of his posts, his 'ideal "woman" ' would be a ten year old Asian, intellectually gifted, possibly rich to support his non-working arse, who would be prepared to serve him and service him in every way possible...IF he can actually get it up, of course...what's that saying about assuming? :wall:

I did not say that I hate homosexuals and want them to suffer. In fact I don't. I was being honest about how I feel about what they do. I think that they are naturally the way they are. I also think it is natural for me to feel the way I do.

I also explained how I believe homosexuality is transmitted down through the generations. A feeling as widespread geographically and historically as hostility toward homosexuality is likely to have a instinctive component to it, although I have difficulty thinking of what it might be.

A number of posters here have mistaken my affection for various male posters on XNXX as homoerotic. They have ridiculed me as a result. Why don't you direct your ill temper toward them? :??)
