  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

My argument is that homosexuality is transmitted down through the generations the way sickle cell anemia is. Twin studies provide evidence for my argument.

Whoever I decide to be with, I would like to have the opportunity to marry, whether I choose a woman or a man. It is unfair to have that privilege stripped away from us, where's the sense of freedom in that?

For a start, the comment of mine that you quoted was NOTHING to do with twins. It was in response to a comment made by D.D. as I was pointing out that the term 'homosexual' covers both male-to-male and female-to-female sexual contact.

Also your argument is flawed because you can ONLY find studies on twins and nothing else. This is a big flaw because both Sylv and myself have personal experience of working with 2 brothers, of which 1 was 100% straight and the other was 100% gay.

So before you spout off again that being gay is genetic, you should go and find studies that deal with brothers and sisters who are NOT twins.

Unless you already have and these studies DO NOT agree with your thoughts. Which is why there is NO reference to them in ANY of your posts.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

There is no need to point this out to me. I'm not sure why on Earth I would need this clarification.

It was made as a pointer that everyone considers homosexual just to mean male-to-male sexual contact.
Your opening comment that 'a lot of people are repulsed by homosexual behaviour' does not take into consideration the amount of men that are turned on by watching 2 females together.

Billy Shakespear: Romeo and [Joliet]: Act II, Scene II

I don't think heteros have the right to monopolise a word, gawd, we'd sound like brawler

"Thou shaltest use the word marriage not when speaking of the union of two so alike, thy varmint! Takest said wordage out of thine swine mouth at once, until thee hast earn-ed the right I command thee "...

...is how Billy may have written in his line

    Okay, but you asked me

Even though you quoted, and highlighted my follow up statement of

"I myself am a little repulsed by male to male sexual acts".

By clarifying and singling out a particular type of homosexual act that I personally find repulsive, does that not indicate to you that there are other types of homosexual acts, that I do not find repulsive? If not, then perhaps I could have been clearer.
I then made a gender neutral statement about what some homosexuals find repulsive, by keeping it gender neutral, that implies both genders can be homosexuals. I also stated that I have one male gay friend and 4 female gay friends.

Quite clearly I'm aware females can be gay too ...

    I understand you.
The confusion is where people try to make differences between homosexual men and women.
These people are quick to label men who prefer men as homosexuals, but they either ignore or are unaware that the term homosexual refers to both genders.

Shooter pauses..........why, of course heteros have the right to monopolize a word......in fact several of them, starting with "heterosexual"....!

    But more to the point, I have to ask the question;
Why would anyone NOT a heterosexual want to claim rights to traditional marriage?

I mean, by tradition marriage is one man one woman, and the tradition and custom built into marriage simply don't fit well with same sex relationships. I mean, you got your "best man" and "maid of honor" and wedding dresses and tuxes, and all that.

So, I ask, why don't non heterosexuals build their own "marriage" tradition? One that bars heterosexuals from participating?

Gay "marriage" I'm all for, have at it, and you ought get all the traditional benefits and responsibilities that go with a committed relationship.

Let them "Christians" have their marriage traditions

    Go make your own!

Huh. So, homosexuality is transmitted genetically. That would imply that homosexuals pass along the trait to their offspring. Why don't you trot on out to your facts and figures shed, and lets see is there a correlation between generations?

I have no problem with Gay marriages. although I'm not a fan of any kind of marriage personally, but I know many in the world like them so to each their own.

LOL! I don't remember posting that but it is so me (the part with the guy eyeing up the other guy that has not come out on this quote, damn my technical inadequacies!).

Az, in the words of a so so film, I love you man! :excited:

Now I've just been talking about this with Mrs Yaz, I think we agree that gay marriage should be allowed and provide all the legal benefits that heterosexual marriage does. But should the church be forced into accepting it?

No, the church is established on certain doctrine that does not accept homosexuality, trying to force acceptance on them is wrong. Civil marriages - yes, church marriages - yes if the church is happy with it, no if they are not.

I firmly believe in the rights of all individuals, even those with religious beliefs that I do not share.

I was brought up Episcopalian. The church I grew up attending had a heterosexual, married man with children as its rector. The new rector is a homosexual, married man with children.

Although I am no longer religious, I love the fact that Episcopalian church not only accepts everyone, but has homosexual men and women in positions to preside over the congregations.

Can i ask what this post has to do with your continuos posts that Homosexuality is genetic.
We have asked for documentation of your beleifs and you give us this crap.
You go on about twins but cannot post any information that deals with brothers and sisters that are not twins, like the brothers we knew and worked with. ONE 100% Gay and the other 100% straight, they are not twins. Still it puts a flaw in your posts of Homosexuality being genetic.
