I was trying to day dream but my mind kept wandering

 

I remember a day I was in a mall and I saw something in a store, and ran in to look at it. Well, I didn't even see the thick all-glass door right in front of me, I smashed into it at about 15 miles an hour, and bounced off it onto my ass in a hot flash. Sitting on the cement floor, my eyeglasses were smashed to bits. My face felt as if it had been run over by a train. The pain was practically unbearable. A lady ran over to me and said, "Mister, are you all right?" And I looked up at her and smiled and said, "Yeah, I think so," when I was practically wishing I were dead from the sheer pain in my face. And I realized at that moment and have never forgotten, that in the worst possible situation I still have a sense of humor.
