Rematch of last years final, should be a great series. I have to admit though, now that all the Canadian teams are out, I am looking forward to the NFL season.

 

Not the CFL???

 

Not unless there is nothing else on. The level of talent in the NFL is a step above and I prefer the game. That being said, the CFL games are usually much higher scoring and can be very exciting. With NFL Europe going tits up, there are going to be a lot of good players looking for a place to play and the CFL should benefit from that.

 

To the point, with my Bruins biting the big one yet again, I am pulling for the Redwings, but I just hope it is a good series.

 

I just read that the series starts Saturday, it wasn't scheduled to start until June 5 but I guess they bumped it up. I would probably cheer for Pittsburgh in the interest of some new blood, but they don't deserve it after stealing the Super Bowl yet again.

my hometown wings will take it in six unless the injuries to lidstrom and datsyuk keep them out of a game or two. if that's the case we'll take in seven at home. GO WINGS!

as a lifetime steelers fan i have to go with the pittsburgh penguins and i'm not a hockey fan at all.

 

Crosby is a crying ass, snot-nosed whiney little bitch and I hope Kronwall takes his fuckin' head off. He is sooooooo over rated. Hell, he's not even the best player on his team. Malkin puts him to shame. I hate people that either like him because of the unfounded hype surrounding him or chicks who just think he's "cute".

 

If you're not a hockey fan at all and don't claim to watch the sport, I respect this type of loyalty to a city. It's so-called "fans" of the sport who talk out of their asses that irritate the hell out of me.

It's like someone nominating a writer as "the best" without reading a word because the writer is left handed.

Don't worry about the rant. And I am always glad to see a Red Wings fan here. This thread is supposed to be about dialogue.

 

I'm not rooting for either team since the Pens and the Wings are the two teams I hate the most in all of the NHL. Needless to say, I will still be watching because it will be entertaining hockey.

 

I understand that. If Washington were my team I'd be pretty down on the Penguins and the Red Wings.
