I spent 30 days in rehab once, and some other patients were talking about doing embalming fluid.
Evidently the "high" if you could call it that, is more like a totally fucked up, zombie like daze. Can't hardly talk, or make any sense if you do.
Not what I'm looking for in a recreational drug.
The street name they used for it was "water", and a joint dipped in it was a "wet" joint, even though they let it dry before lighting it.
They never mentioned the finger method of ingestion, but that would be kinda "handy". It would be perfect for use as a suppository.... :shock:

 

They should just breathe the air in the FEMA campers and other trailers...the formaldehyde in them would get them sick. In one of my high school science classes, we had to do an insect collection and used formaldehyde on cotton to kill the insects. Sorry bug, I didn't mean to upset you. *covering your eyes*

 

Campers smell bad, for sure. But, ingesting embalming fluid sounds gross. Some people treat their own bodies like human trash cans.

 

in defense of statistical proof... i could also be wrong (since i'm too lazy to search for actual statistics), but i doubt it's any worse today than it was a decade or more ago. some people will always be looking for a way to get fucked up; the method just changes. the reason why it seems so prevalent is due to the media, and resulting moral panics.

PCP is not embalming fluid; as in actual formaldehyde or anything else used for the purpose of embalming a body. That is just a slang term. PCP is a disassociative anesthetic, the effects are similar to Ketamine or Dextromethorphan (found in some cough syrups).

No not the news nor watching a movie nor was I high. I am SOBER for 17 years now - my drug of choice was meth. As stated it was purely research built simply from the fact that I could not understand what drives this girl to use something that preserves a dead body. I can't imagine having anything to do with embalming fluid. "gags" But then again, I couldn't imagine someone getting hooked on any kind of drugs until I had surgery and they handed a little pump connected to a "lovely" bag of morphine. Yes, now I understand how a person can become addicted. Because for two days, I had no worries in the world and even today, I sometimes think about that morphine drip and want just one more push of the button/

one of my mate's brothers' was in hpspital for a few days on morphine too, he was 14, and has said something similar to what you just did.

 

embalming fluid isn't psychoactive. its a myth that embalming fluid has the same effect as pcp. where do people get this shit? probably from the same people that said you'd kill your whole family with an axe if you smoke marijuana, or that you'd stare at the sun and burn your eyes out if you took acid.
