I am extremely confused about what you are saying here. You have phrased "For example?" as a question, but i never asked you for an example. Furthermore, you aren't providing any examples!

 

I think he wants examples from you. More to the point though, thinskin, is that sexuality has changed radically over the last few centuries. To know where it is at now, one should know where it came from. Once upon a time sex was highly influenced by religion. It still is to this day for many people: case in point is our OP.

Well, this is if we're talking about just Christianity (or even the Abrahamic religions,) but there are plenty of religions out there that embrace and encourage sex.

You don't have to stop caring though. You can have both, you just need to find the correct way of expressing both your sexuality and your religion.

"...religion is a matter between man and his god..." Take these words to heart. Engage in discussion with people about religion and sexuality. Find your own opinion. Religion shouldn't be about what the community thinks of you, imo, but what you think of your deity and vice versa.

I don't think it's necessarily religion, I think it's society. Religion was a reflection of the society of its people at the time. It's all basically the same thing though, even the current repression of sexuality by the culture we live in today. All of them made(and still make) women property, and not equals.
