I think (hope) Sarah knows better than to run. She can do what she wants without the savage treatment she's gotten from the liberal press. What you liberals should really worry about is Sarah as kingmaker. She's very popular with conservatives. Give her 2 years to sharpen her positions, lose a little of that hoser accent, and she'll be a formidable power on the right. Her support could bring in a shitload of money and swing a lot of votes if the GOP has the right candidate. Given that and the Obama program, 2012 could be interesting.

Can i ask how do you want them to finish the job?, but better still what was the job to be done in the first place?. It's been aknowledged that we "the coalition of the willing" should have never been there in the first place, though if the answer is to rid the world of Saddam then why haven't we invaded countries like Nth Korea, Russia, China, Iran, Zimbabwe and probably another half dozen countries that have crap leaders.

Sarah only appeals to a small segment of the conservative base. Her nomination as McCain's vp stirred up a lot of controversy but you shouldn't mistake that for approval. If you're really hoping for a new conservative movement, you had better pin your hopes on someone other than her. If the GOP hasn't learned their lesson and latch on to her like their new savior, it will surely take them down. The social conservative movement is dead. The GOP hitched their wagon to a horse that has collapsed under them and they won't get anywhere if they sit there and try to beat it in to moving again. Sarah Palin represents the old party, the way it was during Regan's heyday. That won't fly anymore.

You're going to have to deal with it eventually.
