I think you've got the top six teams right but, as much as it pains me to say it, Chelsea are going to take some beating.

I also think Man U will be lucky to finish 3rd...and can almost see them not qualifying for the champions league. (deep joy) That will all depend on how things pan out at Man City, Spurs and of course, Liverpool.


At the other end, I can't see Portsmouth surviving, nor Wolves and Hull.

Fulham will finish somewhere mid table.

 

I think this is a interesting development ... chelsea banned from signing any players in the next two transfer markets ...

well chelsea have been warned so many times over there pursit of transfer targets and flaut the rules .... 18 months untill they can sign anyone and they werent even busy in this transfer market if they go through a bad injurty spell there screwed

jose is a reason they got this harsh a punishment all the tapping up that happened when he was there is part of the reason they were so harshly punished for this

im not sure i think fifa and uefa are trying to show the world they have teeth after everything they have let slip by in the past and chelsea got the ashley cole tapping up reduced so i dont know

And, like others have said, Ancelotti already has the squad he wants for this season....and I still fancy Chelsea for the prem if nothing else.

 

back in 2007 and the few years before chelsea thought there shit didnt stink basically they were like man city right now thought if they splashed money all over the place they could buy whatever they liked get trophies and not pay attention to the rules set out by the governing bodies

the thing they have been banned for this time is not tapping up it is seen as something worse than that by fifa as tapping up is seen to be a part of them game now especially where chelsea is concerned

its not about chelsea trying to save any money its about them thinking they have so much money rules dont apply to them and they can simply just pay fines because it doesnt touch the sides

On a big non-game tonight the Steelers subs and soon to be cut players try to impress somebody, just about anybody, by playing their opposite numbers on the Carolina team.

 

it made me smile to learn about the unusual punishment delivered unto chelsea with the loss of buying rights in 2 transfer windows.

but considering that this is a punishment coming 2 years after the actual event and considering that the management has changed in the meantime its a typical shit decision making too late as usual.

rules will always be broken or attempts will be made to bend the rules on technicallities. but its not fair to wait to long to administer punishment. before the start of the next season would have been more than enough time to sort this out. why wait so long and burden a completely new manager with something that happened in another persons tenure. in this case it may well have had nothing to do with the manager at the time and more to do with the owner but this is still a ridiculous length of time to wait.

so what are they really saying? dont worry about breaking rules in the future, in fact get away with as much as you can now coz you know you will probably get screwed soon anyway for something that happened in the past. the decision makers need to get some focus here and concentrate on the here and now.

 

I agree it's a long time after the event but it's the club that is being punished, not the manager, although I doubt Ancelotti is best pleased.
