  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Hey Tommy!!

    Tom from Northumberland

Sorry for bringing up the 1976 thing but it was so long ago I'd assumed you would not be offended - I can be such a prick some times.
If you had to answer the question objectively posed by your own son "Dad, who play the best football?"

    What would your answer be?

    Thinskin

I think once again this is Chelsea being able to get off with everything. All they have to do is make a fuss and hey presto it goes in their favour.
Have to wonder if the same happened to a smaller team that didnt dominate the top 4 would they be allowed off...i think not!!!

everything is always about money. chelsea can theoretically pump millions back into the transfer market. or is it more sinister, does frenchie have a few christmas parties coming up that chelsea was helping foot the bill? did chelsea tell him that the deal was off unless the ban was lifted or is it something very similar to this?
yeah i cant see plymouth argyle being too helpful in the financial stakes so they better not try to tap anyone up coz they bloody well wont be getting off lightly with it

I actually think it was abit of both. Money seems to talk alot in football these days, which is such a shame.:(
Anyway i'm sure there will be alot of unhappy people with this decision and i reckon it will be speculated alot.

indeed. and you know what if those bloody yanks hadnt broken the tradition of keeping our mouths shut then nobody would know if liverpool were rolling in it or as hard up as all the in house bickering and disclosure is broadcasting to the world.
if we were still a closed house like the good old days, mysterious and powerful by default then im pretty sure a lot less would be going against us now. just what i think in general really

Actually i fully agree with that. If certain people thought Liverpool had lots of money, *really really hate those two greedy blubbering idiots* then i think things would defintely be going a bit more our way.

Football is all about power and money now.:(

yeah i know it does truly suck the way its going. dont get me wrong im delighted to hear that due to massive amounts of cash flowing around the game improvements can be made all over the place. its the greed and the refreshing of certain bank accounts above all others that ticks me off big time.
i suppose that the only real advantage is that when a 'little' team achieves something then they know they have done something of huge proportions due to the fact they are handicapped by lack of resources as well as scales tipped in the favour of the big money and big media favourites. when man u stop being allowed to dominate the league there is a good chance they will sell less tickets overall and they will sell less shirts and command slightly less tv fees etc in favour of the new breed. all the associated links to man u and their money generation are all as a result determined to see them keep succeeding to keep the money coming in and even improving year on year. that wont happen if they dont 'ensure' somehow that they are top of the league year in year out and winning other titles too.

on a side note, despite their successes in recent times and the fact that the premiership is generally regarded as the best league in the world... is it not slightly strange that in the arena of other marketing giants bigger than them that man u dont quite seem to command the same domination of the champions league as should probably be expected. strange that eh? whats the matter fergie not got quite the same clout when it comes to the whole of europe or something?

    and another thing...

last season and this we have beaten man u in 3 straight games. 2 home and 1 away. aggregate score of 8-1

its satisfying that the long tired bar jibe of do you know who the last person to score against man u for liverpool was? has pretty much disappeared forever.

the new question is which liverpool players of the current squad have not managed to score against man u? ha ha ha

no but seriously, its always a pleasure to do one over the mancs, it always has and it always will. these days its extra special as we are beating them and beating cheats and beating corporate cockshafters with little or no interest in football, glory hunters with a vested interest in man u. we are now regularly beating them all with skill, tactics, pride, passion and a lotta heart.

We really do deserve to win!! We go out there and give it our all, we don't just go out and expect to dive and get free kicks left, right and centre.

I am very proud to be a Liverpool supporter; anyone that knows me, knows of my love and passion for my team.

After my family and friends its the next thing closest to my heart. I proudly broacast that i support Liverpool much to the dismay of my partner who does not like football..lol

I have badges in my car, keyrings and even my mug in work is a liverpool one. ^_^

im the same as you where Liverpool FC is concerned. Most people just say im obsessed with Liverpool but well its a big thing for me. I remember the good times and we still have them but i am longing to have them back permanently where they belong.

I was young when i became a Red and since then my love for Liverpool has grown and grown and will continue to do so regardless of how annoying that may be to others. Im never too downhearted about the team as i know that we will be back sooner or later and then we shall see something really special in the premiership thats never been seen before.

You could say i was born into Liverpool, my dad had me watching them before i really understood what football was. With being a scouser i'm very lucky, as i get to go to the matches, when work permits.

Also remember 2005 when we won the CL, well when they brought it home i was there, waited over 4 hours to see them and when that bus stopped right outside our ground with the cup...OMG it has got to be one of the best moments of my life. ^_^

I know the days you speak of, and we will have them again; just a matter of time. Liverpool use to be the only team worth watching and it will be that again.

its always a pleasure to meet and talk with a fellow Red of such dedication.

i bet you were like me on that famous night in 2005. tears rolling down my cheeks with a huge smile across my face as Stevie lifted ol' big ears.

at half time i was upset like so many and i was angry my boys were so badly beaten in the first half but i still had that stubborn belief somewhere within that it wouldnt end as bad as it looked it might.

the sway of emotion was staggering and that first half ensured that i was a bubbling wreck by the time Alonso put away that heart stopping rebound. Omg there were so many heart stopping moments as well as pure joy offset against the abject misery and desolation.

Truly the greatest European final ever contested by two of the greatest European teams to ever grace a football field.

i really do miss Xabi and i think he has made a huge mistake going to Madrid. Actually its obvious that Rafa to some degree made a huge mistake too back when we were about to send him to Juve. I was gutted at the thought of it coz i knew Alonso was a top man. But i think he excels in a particular environment and sadly for him i dont think thats what he has found at Madrid. The differences between Xabi and Rafa are highly regrettable
