Anyhoo, the majority of ppl on here (including one really fervent 'pool supporter); almost all of the professional sports writers; all fair-minded, agenda-less, sports fans agree that he dived, which is okay in Men’s Three-metre Springboard, but not in Football, and is therefore a CHEAT.

the cheating came from not admitting he wasnt touched. the rest all comes from the huge amount of cheating that comes from all over the premiership week in week out. that is why on a monday night with one premiership game spotlighted, that man u was not in, everyone is deciding to take exception to this particular event. funnily enough you can go all through a season as man u and all these repeated offenses are just part of the game. Liverpool who rarely either cheat or are given the opportunity to do so have one dubious decision and its oooooo look at the cheating bastard.

i suppose if you do it every game your cheating becomes less noticable to the masses and if you do it once in a long while then wow its so obvious!

Stevie G cheated to get a penalty against atletico madrid in the champions league last year. i openly admit that as a Liverpool supporter and having seen every single game since then N'gog is the next questionable incident. How many teams can say they are are cheatless as that then? its fairly obvious to any football fan that liverpools tactics dont include playing as cheats or playing to cheat the referee. some tactics are wrong on our behalf and some are simple, then some are playing to our obvious strengths and some are pure genius.

so many other managers incorporate (and believe) cheating is a part of the game and instruct it to be used

and the rest of the incidents are executed by referees for various reasons including being instructed from higher powers and greed. of course there are genuine mistakes and there are their own incorrect interpretations. some referee's are playing without full knowledge of the rules of the game in some situations
