Cant agree Tom, the European Super League is all about further increasing the revenue for the top clubs who will be participating in it. For a minute just imagion the Scottish PL had a rich Arab investor and Celtic and Rangers were going to be better off financially staying there than they would be in the EPL, do you really think that they would want to join the EPL still? Its about getting more cash in the bank; by joining the EPL they can maximise their revenue potential, which lets face it, given their fan base both clubs have worldwid, is massive.

 

You'll never get Tom to agree; he's so so scared that the OF will take a spot in the EPL which 'belongs' to NUFC.
He's desperate for his beloved team to be in it, but bugger off any OF fans who want better for their team; which is fair enough, buts lets not slag someone else off for wanting Rupert Murdoch money.

 

Oh you cant blame the OF for wanting a piece of the pie, if all the money was in Scotland then our teams would want to be there. No matter how much I understand I dont want it; thankfully its dead in the water.

not quite my point Pegasus the PL is for English clubs and if you join you join at the bottom and work your way up

any new super league will be created from scratch and as such their will be no qualification other than money

also it was a political point about the supposed independent Scots who want nothing to do with England

Who cares how many Jocks wanted Brazil to win; how many Cardiff fans wanted Wales to win at the weekend. How many ppl BORN AND BRED in england would want Pakistan to beat England at cricket just because their parents were born there, and came to England.

I seem to remember you were one of the ppl asking yanks why the world series was called the world series when only the US competes. Do you spose there is ONLY 1 Premier league? I used EPL to differentuate between the EPL and the SPL. Is that okay?

as for the world series that was explained to me and i now understand and accept their name for their league

I live in Northumberland and have worked and holidayed in Scotland (never again) i have experienced first hand with my children the anti English racism of the Scots

why should i welcome you in to English football with a short cut that penalises English teams

why should they not have to start at the bottom and work there way to the top like the rules say?

I do not object to them joining the English leagues although it will be a stupid thing for Scottish football
