  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Is this not the problem with this, the potential qualification for the CL because Cardiff do not play in the Welsh league they cannot qualify for the CL via that competition but the Scottish teams do qualify for the CL through their own domestic league.

Sorry if I am playing catch up in this discussion.

I agree....to a point. if they are that desperate, they should enter the pyramid at a lower level. (In 1993, i think it was, i was advocating Rangers put a team in near the bottom of the pyramid, and by putting in assets, get them promoted to the PL)

It will never happen, you're right. It would be a disaster for Scots football, but its been in terminal declibe for years. If the OF were to leave, the football would be very, very poor.

Bottom line is.....OF need the PL a sight more than the PL need the OF, and something drastic would have to happen to alter that.;)

    thats true

but the same can be said of the big 4 in the PL

at this moment in time it is still one club one vote so as long as all the rest stick to geather we can maintain the status quo

but under UAFA rules you cannot enter a team in two leagues

maybe Man U should buy Celtic as a feeder club

after all Newcastle once considered buying Berwick for the same reasons

What i would find interesting, Tom, is if a club, say in the Championship, were to go bust (completely out of business) and Celtic applied to the English FA to take their place/buy them out.

They could have their reserves play in the SPL and replace the team in the Championship with Celtic 1st team....No-one would lose out then (obviously apart from the poor buggers whose team went to the wall).

    Would be win/win, wouldnt it?

    Just an idea;)

thats a possibility because of what happened to Wimbledon AKA MK Dons

and if you had say Leeds Celtic and a total transfer of player with financially independent clubs how could the PL or UAFA object??

    bet the fans would though

Thats an interesting thought JJD, wonder how eufa & fifa would view it? We all know they hate us having four FA's and wish we were one.

'Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes Premier League clubs are shunning England's talented managers in favour of 'fashionable names' from abroad'

Anyone else think Harry has a point?

well well well i wonder if the very highly regarded Thierry Henry will get the same abuse that the early in his career David N'Gog got. Considering Henry's "cheating" was oh around about 10 times worse than the N'Gog penalty and even led to a goal directly as opposed to leading to a penalty.

Republic are robbed of a place in the world cup very likely and birmingham were robbed of 2 points out of a possible 114 in a season but the David N'Gog "dive" produced instant aggression.

The fact that the live coverage commentators and pundits were "fairer" in their assessment of Henry's actions almost to the point of claiming that Ireland were not even worthy of playing in the same game as France goes a long way to forming EVERYONE elses "own" opinion of what they saw and how unfair it is.

Interesting that Alex McLeish mentioned diving as another option to handling the ball and creating a goal but he seems to be very understanding of the situation he has no control over. Also interesting to hear about his theories about the bigger names in football seemingly getting the rub of the green when it matters most.

at the end of the day, i dont agree that the republic punched above their weight and its fair enough all said and done. they completely had the french on the ropes all through the game and this kinda shit just aint clever.

platini must be made to stand down now (strange he is french huh) and someone advocating video referee must replace him now. this is not the kind of controversial situation that is ingrained in the sport as one of the things that we all know and love. this is unfair and low dirty cheating. take the option out of players hand before it gets any more out of hand (no pun intended) than it already is!

Henry has tainted himself with that act and I hope he wakes this morning utterly ashamed of his act, but being an ex gunner I doubt it. I doubt any action that benefits Ireland wil come from any FIFA investigation (if they bother at all) but surely Henry cant be allowed to play in the world cup after doing that? But FIFA punishing Henry will be an admission that Ireland were cheated and thats just not going to happen

Platini has to be at the very heart of this and if the man has any integrity he will step down, but lets face it he doesnt. He changed the qualifying format to suit France and then this happens.
