Well what a weekend of football

I felt sorry for aresnal, sorry bunny but it did. They started off so well and really kept attacking for all they were worth, still Chelsea kept their amazing defense and it wasn't to be.

They did have some good tries and i personally think it would of been nice if they had scored at least one. Kind of get something for the brilliant effort they put in from the off.

We won..Yayyyyyyyy.
However i still think our performance was very shakey, and we only really came to life in the last 20 mins of the second half, which just is not good enough!!

Everton played very well from the begining, as much as it paines me to say and had they not have been some of their class players down, the result may have gone in their favour.

Still we are also our main striker down and had he been on the pitch we may have scored more, who knows?
We got the result and more importantly the three points we so badly needed. Everton are only two places against the bottom three, so hoping that they get their team members back and climb the table. This season has not been great for either merseyside team.

 

So the best the PL had to offer was Arsenal v Chelsea, anyone else watch el clasico? Played at pace with commitment and skill.

Moyes might just walk, though. There's a lot of rumour floating around in the press - if you blieve that sorta thing.
It all depends what other (better?) job is on the horizon. He wont walk if there's no other Prem. team waiting for him to walk into.

I think Moyes may be getting fed up of having his hands tied behind his back all the time, if he is to progress i think he needs to leave and have a budget of more than 50p.

 

Talking about Chelsea, there's only one winner of the Prem. this year.

Ancelotti has the personnel to utilise his favoured diamond formation: great attacking full backs (Cole, Bosingwa), fantastic defensive Midfielders (Mikel, essien), attacking midfielders (Lampard, Cole) and one of the best strikers on the planet (Drogba).
They also have Anelka and other class players who can fill in for injuries/resting players. Their bench is the best in the league.

I think they will run away with the league after Xmas.

 

Cheers any win over wolves or villa is good to us. I think maybe Chelsea will take it this year but those dark horses MU should be watched with interest.
Also Spurs may get 3rd this ear not fourth as Peg is hoping.
We here in the blue half of Brum will be satisfied with a win over villa and survival this year.
