Did anyone see the Titans wearing the throwback uniform today, the old Houston Oiler uniform...was strange now they are in different state with different team name.

 

Maybe that's why they stank so much - they thought the opposition was actually their team mates? :excited:



Apropos of which ... what the hell is with the lunatic notion so many Americans have that easing up on your opponents is being sporting? Nothing shows more contempt for your opponent than saying "you're so pathetic we don't even need to try any more." If you wanted to be sporting and respect them, you'd carry on playing hard to the end.

The Steelers now have the same

win - loss record as the Cincinatti Bungles, but the Bungles are in first place, ahead of the Steelers, by virtue of their conference record. The Steelers are on the way upward again, and the Bungles are going down. Baltimore and Cleveland are battling it out for last place in the conference.

Next Sunday - If the Steelers can pull this one off you'll know they are champions. If not, they still aren't eliminated.​

 

Vikes are showing the luck of champions this year. They're playing badly against teams that can't take advantage (cf. shanking a last-second field goal...) and playing well against teams that could have beaten them.

 

But they kept the "Love ya" blue in the Titans colors.

This is not a good time to be a Titan's fan, but a game does not make a season, a 0 and 6 start does not erase the history of winning team and "wait til next year" hasn't started ringing through Music City yet.

 

There will be a lot of purple people eaters in Pittsburgh on Sunday. Especially at Heinz Field.

I still can't believe we lost to the fucking Raiders. I blame Antonio Pierce, among other people *cough* Andy Reid *cough*. One of them can't shut his damn mouth when he's not even that good, and the other just flat out cannot call plays or strategize. Even the B TEAM sportscasters were questioning him. Who the hell calls 2 consecutive timeouts within 10 seconds of the 2 minute warning?
