that's because the only asian girls you probably saw were the ones that are in the media. They are all hot, or airbrushed, but then look at the media for white girls, if you were in china, you would think all white girls were hot, or fat woman with talk shows. the reality of it is there are hot asians and not so hot asians, the average bust size and size in general is going up because of a larger amount of meat in the diet, mostly in Japan, South Korea, and the major cities of china, vietnam, thailand, ect, but it's still not very close to the average in the US and Europe.

also, the term oriental is usually regarded as somewhat racist in todays society. (which is mostly bullshit, because if I found out that someone was calling me occidental, I wouldn't really care.

 

When I was a child, the photos of Oriental girls I saw were of school girls in Japan, Korea, or Taiwan. They were not of professional models.

I use the term "Oriental" to refer to the people of China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Tibet, and Mongolia. The term "Asian" also refers to the people of India, Indonesia, the Near East and so on.

Because I have a high regard for Orientals, I do not see how my use of that word can be called racist.

I personally don't consider "Oriental" a particularly racist term, although I've encountered a few people who do. I simply take it as "eastern", a somewhat relative term, considering that Japan is west of the U.S. and China is west of, say, Japan.

 

Oriental is a little more descriptive than Asian.

Eastern depends on how far east in Asia. Nepal, Cambodia or Japan.

Asia includes places like India, Saudi Arabia as well as Japan, China, etc.

A better description is to state what country someone is from since people each country tend to specific physical traits.

 

Funny, as Asian, I consider Japanese, Chinese, Phillipiens ( ? ) and as Oriental, I consider Arabs and so on.

 

Diet, diet, diet!

Most people of the world, including Asians, are getting taller. Many are also getting fatter. The increase in height is basically due to a diet with more variety and enough additional calories to support additional height. They are also getting fatter, due to the prolifertion of American Style foods, and the number of McDonalds and Burger Kings in the area..This is also a matter of additional calories.

well, my knowledge comes from
a) pictures that a few friends brought over when they visited asia (mostly Japan)
b) pictures from my teachers taken basically all over
c) our student body here, where we have a few international students hailing from vietnam, china, korea, and japan

and not all the girls have been hot. I will say that most of them have been quite petite, but tat doesn't automatically equate to hot for me. That is really just each persons opinion.

also, if you look at the student body of a US or European school, most of the girls aren't that bad, we just have a few people that stand out for being way obese.

as to the word oriental, that comes directly from on of my Asian Studies professors, and was news to me when I heard it.

Also, I see no problem with including India into this, because many of the women there can be quite beautiful as well, though I have never noticed a bias towards any one race in what attracts me.

 

Indian women appeal to me too, but they are Caucasians. Orientals are one of the three major races.
