Newt, it's very simple. Your ancestors were "white" because they didn't need to be darker in order to survive, due to where they lived. They could just as easily have been from Africa and been "black", and the only things that would've been different would've been the things that the people who lived there needed in order to survive, like more melanin for example.

Are you sure you ain't over generalizing? I've got friends of all different races. Some of 'em are interested in whatever thier own race is. Some guys (and girls) want something different.

For those that do...different can be attractive. I'm a white guy. I don't really care what color or race the lady I'm with is. After all, why limit the pool of women that can tell me to take a hike? However, an exotic looking woman will turn my head because she isn't something I see as often.

Good example: A few years back I was dating a lady that had moved here from Korea. She loved going to the dirt track races. If you haven't been to one of these in the South, it is a pretty redneck event. I can say that; I'm a reformed redneck. She was always the center of attention at these things (may be why she liked going).

Did all of these good ol' boys like asian women better than white women? No. She just stood out because she looked a lot different than the other women there.

Secondly, if God wanted to keep the races separate, why did he allow the invention of the jetliner? Look around you and you'll see people of lots of different color. Evidently they didn't STAY separated, despite God's (and your) best efforts.

Modern DNA analysis allows scientists to determine pretty clearly how human beings originally spread across the globe, and evolution explains how traits like skin color began to be differentiated in various sub-populations. You really should try reading a book other than the Bible now and then.

Races have been mixing long before the jetliner. The jetliner wasn't invented unil the late 1950's. I have personally known some of the people that helped develop the first jetliner.

The ancient Egyptians were a mixture of Africans and Europeans. The first Americans that came by boat to the USA included both free black people as well as white people. I read that the first American settlers mixed without thinking about it. I t wasn't until the white man made black men into slaves that intermarriage was looked down upon. It got worse after blacks were emancipated by republicans that didn't like them which opened up segregation as a way of life in the USA.

Races have been mixing ever since the boat was invented. Probably sooner than that even...

I'm guessing that Jesus was probably not a white guy either.
