Hiya, just wondered which one you prefer.

Guessing to our friends across the pond this won't make any sense, unless you watch some British TV.

These are the two main car programmes on TV here; so you could call them rivals.

For me it's "Top Gear" hands down; love it, love everything about the show.

Hammond, James and Clarkson, the best threesome there is. Oh and not forgetting the amazing stig, still dying to know who that is.

Well this programme, for me, is the best kind of car programme out there.

I personally will only watch top gear, as it feels like i'm cheating on them if i watch 5th gear, something me and my bf have had many rows over.

 

I love cars but I struggle to watch either of these programmes. The presenters are such massive twats it gets my back up! Hammond is just a walking midlife crisis.

The only presenters on either that I like are Tiff and Jason so I prefer 5th Gear but then you have to put up with those two wankers who front it. If Top Gear was just an hour of watching the Stig drive cars that would be perfect for me!

Damn now I am fucking angry just thinking about them all, grrrrrrrr.

I say Top Gear also,they have taken the theme to a completely different level,the show must bring in millions of pounds profit to the BBC.

Fifth Gear is a programme about some cars.

 

ihe new topgear is okay, but i miss the old top gear....

 

sorry have to completely disagree the old top gear was nowhere near as good as it is now.

I don't think the old presenters worked very well.

But he is a twat. Stig does the good driving, the rest is all banter and drooling at cars I will never own. Why not add VBH to the mix

Lol, I assume the reason you never see his face or hear him talk (I don't think... I don't really watch TV) is so they can use whoever they like.

I don't think the BBC makes a profit...

My fave car to have would be either the Audi TT, loved them from way back

of the new nissan skyline Nissan GTR omg is that a fine looking car

Is that the Tubro? One of my colleagues had one of them, ended up driving his Astra as the mini drunk to much fuel, he just couldnt drive it slowly.
Well I have a Landrover Freelander 2 and a C Class.

Dream car has to be a Lamborghini Murchielago, they just look so ott that i need one.

Because we have one each. Wife needs one to drop little one at nursery and to get to work and I need one to pick him up and also to commute. Live in the country so no easy regular buses.

My mate works as a freelance motor journalist and he gets to drive lots of them, git.

 

Top Gear, for sure. I have to agree with Abe tho'; Hampster is an annoying little twat that makes everything he does/say look contrived...
