I think I've been misunderstood.

I've known girls that were convinced they knew everything about everything.

I never had to point it out to anyone. Anything anyone said was stupid to them. So they were always bitchy.

i always look for intelligence before even considering looks. granted, i dont want to look like a retard next to her...i couldnt stand being with someone who looked like a retard next to me. i guess i look for someone who is near my own intelligence

 

I think it is an attractive quality. Though, I do think I am somewhat intimidated by it, I ultimately know that a dumb girl isn't good for much else besides screwing. A smart girl holds her own, and is worth more than the sum of her parts. Some dumb women can be genuinely nice people, and worth associating with, but as for my spouse, mate, significant other, what have you, I want her to have a brain. Perhaps even more of a brain than me. This, however, makes it harder to find somebody, obviously.

I think smart woman are sexy! I always have and I will continue to think that. A woman that can think for herself and teach me a thing of two truly is hot beyond her years.

 

in general yes, intelligence is sexy, but of course, there are exceptions.
these exceptions are
1) accountants are almost always not sexy
2) economists are never sexy
3) using intelligence to bash men over the heads isn't sexy.
4) sometimes, an intelligent conversation is nice, other times, crass humor and idiotic behavior can be nice, even more times, some nice arousing sexy talk is nice (often during foreplay or sex, even)
5)using intelligence to verbally assess mens idiocy in not ok. we have assessed it already, usually we just don't care that the result is bad
6) intelligence isn't something in place of looks. I know, this sounds incredibly piggish, but be honest now, your brain isn't going to pull stares in a club, and a PhD, while impressive, is not plastered on your forehead for all to see. it's what makes us stay after we've gotten to know you, not what leads us to you in the beginning
7) personality is more important then intelligence any day. if I had a bitchy girl with a PhD on one hand and an averagely smart girl with a wonderful personality on the other, I would probably have the bitch for a one night stand, but the sweet girl for a serious relationship.
8) just because you know something, doesn't mean you have to say it. especially if you learned it in an advanced class of college or grad school, it's very interesting to people who know what your talking about, but unless the person your with is on the same career path, it's not really fun to talk about.

concerning point 6, I'm not disillusioned into thinking that all girls should look like they belong in Hollywood. many of the girls I find myself attracted to don't follow the standard ideals of beauty, but I do think that things like skin care, attractive hair style, good style of dress, and often makeup do wonders. I'm not too picky concerning this still, but things like acne or greasy hair are always a big turnoff for me
